I got the answer right, but it took me six minutes to do so :( any tips on how to get these questions right in a more timely manner? I'm nervous because I understand the concepts and why the answer is right, but I seriously take my time answering them and I know realistically on the day of the exam, I won't have more than a minute and a half to answer these questions. #help #feedback
I understand this problem after watching the video, but my problem is... how am I supposed to solve this in a minute and a half on the test lol
Same if I felt pretty positive in my response, I'll kind of skip through the explanation video. I'll only watch the ones where i get the answer wrong or the ones where I get it right but still feel confused
I think if the sentence said "Some cultivars of corn are much more closely related morphologically to sorghum than ARE most other cultivars of corn" then we would be comparing some cultivars of corn and other cultivars of corn and their relationship to sorghum. But since the sentence said "to" rather than "are", it means we are comparing sorghum and other cultivars of corn to their some cultivars of corn.
Yeah but then wouldn't the conclusion be that is is likely that there would be much left to learn about what makes [music] resonate with people?
So basically:
Context; Jazz music has existed for over a century and is hugely influential across the world.
Conclusion: So, it seems likely there would be much left to learn about what makes it resonate with people.
Premise: musicologists have recently discovered a new rhythm that seems to generate a powerful sense of excitement.
Premise: Jazz musicians in New Orleans have been observed to use this unique rhythm to electrify their performances.
Not sure if this is correct and I know I'm technically re-wording one of the claims made
LOL same
