I'd just say that while this could definitely be a stamina issue with 3 of your misses in S4 being in the first ten questions, there's always a range of what your capable of. I think it's also important to remember that any one person who say averages -5 on an LR section has the ability to get -10 on a section and also likely has the ability to get like -1 on a section. With you saying -6 isn't surprising at all, then a one off -9 shouldn't be too unfathomable, sometimes you get it down to 2 AC and end up choosing the wrong ones. Not saying this to demotivate you, if anything having those 3 misses in the first 10 likely being easy q's, I'm sure you're able and confident enough to get those 1 and 2 stars correct. Just keep grinding!
this seems dumb to me because its an analogy inside an analogy? Hes using a principle from outside source to show that diverging lines are parallel. This is proving one concept wrong (diverging) and that its actually another thing(parallel)! This seems like an easier question with the statistic but just seems so dumb that your supposed to make the connection that each diverging line is a different point of view that run congruent with each other.
@spindlynoodles idk i just started out better at it to be honest. I started doing random 5 section questions at work and eventually noticed how similar most problems are to others.
How do you know that just because their "crafts' were becoming more diversified and sophisticated you can conclude that the people who used them are becoming more diverse and sophisticated. Just because their activities change does not imply that they have become any more sophisticated as people or diverse at all.
I get this is implied, but since it's the author attitude, and one perspective, is it realistic that this answer should fall along the lines of the MP? MP being that there's support for stealing thunder, despite the slight skepticism in the final paragraph. Is there correlation between author attitude & main point in single position passages?
I only didn't chose D because it says "daytime" napping. It never mentions the fishermen napping in the daytime, they definitely do it at night too. I read the answer from the tutor LowriThomas below but it just seems like an inconsistent assumption that you don't make in other questions but were supposed to here. She says to look past granular details and look at the core issue, which I agree you'd put D that's what i wanted to do. But so many times have answer choices been ruled out because of one word.

this test sucks, you always gotta brush it off. i guarantee you thats going to happen again multiple times. fuck it, realize where you went wrong, keep going
