This is my second pass at the conditional logic module and I can finally see some progress in my accuracy and PTs... for those of you starting out: PLEASE do not move on until you know this stuff like the back of your hand. I will save you time and effort. Conditional logic is a score killer.
Hello, Kat,
These two tips are somewhat irrational but they have helped me tremendously with concentration:
Start the LR section from the end. I find the hardest answers come later in the section, and somehow, I feel motivated by having finished the last questions FIRST. The closer I get to the first questions, the easier it gets. This helps me keep my concentration.
I still struggle with conditionals and long stims, so if I see a long, conditional-heavy question, it's an instant skip. Because I have tackled all the other questions with confidence, I can focus on these harder questions later without the time pressure. I can even dedicate some time to diagramming the conditional logic. If am being completely honest, most of the times I still feel as if I am gonna get them wrong anyway, so having the extra time helps me regain some of my concentration and confidence as to try and get some extra points.
Hope this helps :)
Hello, Carlos. I work around 40 hours a week too and have been studying since November of last year. What I do is a wake up at around 5 am every morning and get a solid two hours of study. Every day. Mind you, I don't have kids, pets, family responsibilities or a long commute to work. However, as some other commenters have alluded to, consistency (and concentration) are key to tackle the somewhat abstract and complex nature of this test. But this can be learned and you have time. For me, it isn't realistic to study after a full day of work because I am exhausted by the end of it and nothing will stick; however, this might not be the case for you if you are a night owl. Also, eat well and rest. Sleep is vital. If you decide to dedicate some time to study in the morning, please make sure it isn't at the expense of sleeping less. Best of luck!
I've noticed there is not even one single 2-3 difficulty question in the whole unit so far... makes it really hard to keep going.
Got it in BR after mapping the correlation described in the stimulus. This forces you to read the stim more intently, I find.
I don't know how any of this makes sense to anyone. I am going back to the foundations.

This will make so much sense later. Bookmark this lesson and come back to it later.
I am 5 months in, and this is only now finally clicking after many wrong questions and countless classes with 7sage's AMAZING teachers.
