I just finished the LR learning lessons! Should I now: do LR drills every day? Start taking timed practice tests, including RC section? Take untimed practice tests? Take untimed or timed LR sections only while I do RC curriculum, then take full practice tests? What approach is best? I will be beginning the RC curriculum, but want to make sure I'm still regularly engaging with LR so as to not lose those skills.
Why does there being other necessary conditions present a flaw? So what if Water is not the only necessary conditions? Necessary conditions still don't guarantee the presence of water? Isn't that doing the same sufficiency and necessity error again?
I thought A was wrong because I thought it should be written as "During rough voyages ship passengers providing a view of the water are MORE likely to get motion sickness than are passengers in cabins providing no view." Like the astronauts, they see they are moving but their bodies are not physically moving (the ship is moving), so their ear is probably telling them they are not moving.
I don't get how the inner ear is actually telling them they are moving, and how you know that from A.
How is A correct if it doesn't address why those who judge his performance as "good or excellent" CONTINUED to judge his performance as "good or excellent?" I understand how A shows the non-supporters still don't like him pre and post-scandal, but isn't the discrepancy more about why public opinion of him as "good or excellent" has potentially stayed the same?
I understand how logically in question one it could be that zero X-wings have hyperdrives, but we previously said that "some" is exclusive of zero. So is it case by case dependent of when "some" includes and does not include zero?
If question 5 just said "Few kittens adopted yesterday went to homes with children," would it be correct then to diagram as:
Kittens adopted yesterday <-some-> homes with children
and
Kittens adopted yesterday -most-> /homes with children
Is Claim 2 a conditional? I did not spot any conditional indicators, and the analysis did not break down any indicators in claim 2, yet they wrote it as a conditional.
Can someone explain why "alienating" is a supported term here? I can understand the music being unappreciated or found to be disturbing as explained by the author, but why does that mean alienating? That's why I did not choose D. Where in the passage points to "alienating" being acceptable?
