Just to make sure I have this right, can someone check my logic?
Superset -- fruit
Subset -- watermelon
Membership in the watermelon subset is sufficient for membership in the fruit superset, but not necessary. (If you are a watermelon, then that is a valid way to be a fruit. But being a watermelon is not the only way to be a fruit)
Membership in the fruit superset is necessary for membership in the watermelon subset, but not sufficient. (You have to be a fruit in order to be a watermelon. But just because you are a fruit, doesn't mean that you are a watermelon.)
Agreed!! I laughed so hard! Please keep it!
Experiencing the same thing rn!! I did it in 18!
4:38 hehe........bEtTeR
I thought LR would be my worst enemy
nooooo, i was in between C and D and chose C. so close, yet so far.
thanks, I'll try this!!
Got the right answer and faster than the time limit on the first go. Second guessed myself in the br. sigh.
#help I'm getting the answers right, but I'm always a few minutes above the target time. How do I get faster?
Thanks! This helps a lot :)
Got it right the first try and second guessed myself in the BR. ugh.
In my opinion, these questions rely a lot on our logic abilities. So if I were you I would go back and review the fundamentals in logic and grammar! Try to really nail down identifying sufficiency and necessary conditions, premises, and conclusions, and know how to use the 4 groups of indicators. Once you have that down, I feel like you'll have stronger tools to work through these problems. For me, strengthening logic fundamentals has helped tremendously in understanding how to solve these problems! Also, these questions are really hard, so don't beat yourself up. It's a tough climb to the top, but we'll get there! Hope this helps :)
#help. I'm trying to take my time on these questions to make sure I have the correct logic down. I've been getting most the answers right, but these questions are taking me 5-6 minutes. Once I solidify the logic, I hope to get quicker with practice. Is this technique efficient or is there a better method?
HELL YEAH! Congrats, and keep up the good work!!
i need a break after this one.
Did the lawgic and contrapositive in my head and got it RIGHT. LETS GO.
got it right the first round, and second guessed on the blind review smh
bruh im cooked
It makes sense why the foundational lessons got down to the nitty gritty. Doing contrapositives, finding premises and conclusions, etc. are instinctual for me now. Feeling great :))
if it makes you feel any better, this section was difficult for me too! but we gotta remember these are just drills, and as long as we work to better understand the questions and why the answers are what they are, you're good!
keep going we got this :)
Hi!! While it's true that "only" is a group 2 necessary indicator, "the only" is a group 1 sufficient indicator. So, the lawgic on that problem should look a little more like this instead.
The only oral myths that have survived are the ones that were eventually written down.
