I do not think we will get them earlier. Maybe at midnight of August 10th.
So if you could give a difficulty level for LSAT sections, what would you grade them as? a.k.a 7sage style 1 is the easiest 5 is the toughest
also do you think the curve will be significant due to last game and tough RC?
@ yes comparative passage was difficult. I was not sure how they related and it sank a lot of time
@ experimetal
@ experimental
@ yes! I felt same way. So was the 26 question one real? And then the second one experimental? Had LR LG LR LR RC
@ Dave Killoran reported it to be February 2014 test. He also has a blog post about this test on powerscore website. The link was posted in this forum before, check first page
Did this test have 100 or 101 questions guys?
@ not everybody gets experimental at the same time.
Can sb confirm how many LR questions were in each section? Was it 26 and 25 or both 25?
@ The real LG on today's LSAT was then:
Art installations
Garden/Department store with furniture, gardening, housewares
City workers
8 Diplomats/delegation sitting clockwise at a circular table
I am done with the curriculum, though I am sure I will revisit it. However, I was planning on going through the LSAT trainer first before doing more PTs. My question is if anybody did that already, did you see your score improve after LSAT trainer?
Should I BR until I get 180 on each PT I took?
My question is, once you get the game wrong, watch explanation, get all of the inferences from video explanation, do you print the copies of the game and drill it until you get it correct under timed conditions? Or do you move on to next game and then drill the previous one later in life? I am really confused as to what to do. I feel if I drill it right away I just remember what I watched in video so I get it correct and under time right away from second take. However, if I spend some time doing other LG I forget all inferences and start from scratch on each game. What to do?
I was wondering if being an international applicant helps? I see that being URM helps a lot, but what about internationals?
Hi guys,
So i decided to study until i average 170 on lsat. Do you think anybody can do this with hard work and dedication? Or do you believe some people are not made to hit 170?
i need to delete tests from analytics. how do i do that?
@ I did not isolate per se. i think those things are interconnected and should not be addressed one by one. I got admitted but I have not made my decision as to which school I will attend.
I applied ED to WUSTL. According to their website they should send a decision within two weeks of the application. I applied two weeks ago as of Dec 13. Does it mean they denied me with no notice? Is there still a chance that I will get in?
I did it, I also got in Berkeley. I am an immigrant also. My advice is to think about something that you did not write anywhere else in application.
As sb who got in Berkeley I can give you some advice on application process. Send a pm
I know the smart decision would be to limit myself to some number of schools I will apply, but the thing is I cannot. I feel like applying to each and single one in the top 25 law schools. I also think about not having any safety schools on the list and applying only to those I will absolutely love to go to, not simply be "okay" with. Does it sound like a mad woman plan?
I accepted my third score. My second June 2018 and third July 2018 were exactly the same scores and even though I am registered for September I will withdraw and see what happens this cycle.
I am in the same boat. Got in Berkeley and UVA with their first waves and I am really torn. I have no clue as to how to make the decision. Still waiting on scholarship info which should be released some time in february...
Hello fellow possible classmate btw!
So do you guys think scores will be released at 9am?
@ gray too
#welistened to the person who is NOT waiting on scores to be released.
Exactly! Killoran complained and LSAC listened to the person who is NOT waiting on scores to be released
Obviously PowerScore posted a complaint and now the release time had changed, but like who can sleep when you know they will be out in the morning? Like is not it better to get them at night and sleep it off at least? I really do not know who complained about an earlier release of midnight scores, except Killoran who considered it to be wrong to have people waiting. Well, we will still be waiting, some people will have their whole work day shot because of anxiety waiting from 9am. Not being able to sleep etc. Midnight was clear cut as we had whole night more or less to figure the rest of our lives out, have drinks, get high, whatever it is that people do when they get lsat scores at night.
I wish they did the midnight release. I really do not appreciate this whole we listened thing. I loved having them at night. Like why would you want to extend the wait if you have an option of not to?
So here is the deal, i am international student and do not qualify for fee waivers through LSAC. I need to beg each school individually to help me with some sort of the fee waiver :) Today I have received an email from Washington Uni that I can request a fee waiver, when I click that link it offers me to send them an email. Here is the deal, what do I write in that email? "I am such and such would like to request fee waiver"?
Thanks guys, you are always so helpful
@ they are most likely to be released in minutes after midnight on 10th just like with june lsat
What do you think are cons and pros applying early decision? Also, can I apply early decision to a couple of schools? Like apply to those which are very unlikely to get me accepted and one that is somewhere in a middle?
I was just wondering what do you guys consistently score on LR?
Guys, I really need you to help me with advice/strategy/tips on how to move forward.
I took September 2016 LSAT and did 154 on official which was right my average. My diagnostic was 142. I did get accepted to top 25 and got waitlisted and then dinged from Columbia in early August (yes, they dragged my ass for long time).
Fast forward to current day, my average is 166. I hit 167 couple times. My breakown is -2LG, -5RC -10LR.
My GPA is 4.07 and I really want to get into top school, thats why I am not giving up and kept working to improve. I am registered for June LSAT. I desperately need to hit that 170.
Please guys, help a girl out here. I am not URM, one year out of college now.
So, I just did timed pt and scored 16/24 on logic games (ran out of time on the 1st question of the last game). Do you think if i print the games from pt 1-35 and just drill them until I get them right under time conditions it will improve my score? Will 35 tests be enough? Ideally, obviously, I would like to get them all correct. Though being realistic about my skills, I am aiming to get 22/24 on the actual day.
Okay guys, I need your help figuring out my next step.
I have finished CC, Manhattan LR and Trainer and I do believe that I have a very strong sense of LR arguments and question stems. My strategy was to do LR from PTs 17-36 untimed and really take my time to analyze the questions. So far I did 17-19 and my average is -6.5 per section. I need to bring it down to at most -2 and I do not know how to achieve it.
The way I did the questions that I did was to
Now two things happen 1) either i am down to two answer choices (most of the time one of them is correct) and i pick the wrong one because somehow in my head i overthink it and all of the sudden it becomes somehow attractive or 2) i do not read careful enough and misread the right answer in a way that it becomes a wrong answer, so even though i take my time to understand the argument, i rush with understanding the answer choices.
My question is, should I stick with my strategy and keep going with the rest of the PTs in hope that after enough bumps along the way I will be able to learn better what my weaknesses are and spot the wrong answer choices easier?
Should I employ a different strategy?
P.S there is not one specific kind of questions I miss the most. I am pretty decent at all of them according to 7sage trends, with SA and Flaw being my best and Strengthen, AP and MBT being the worst.
With this recent app update it got trickier to put in the answer choices. So many extra steps. Instead of having it in a form of mobile app now its just a website in mobile version. WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT 7SAGE?
I had an interview last week. It was alright. No hard questions, the interviewer was not very nice though.
So I have an option to go to a law school in around 18--30 range ranking. I also have an option to take a year off and study more for lsat. Is 18-30 a bad return on investment? Reallu tough decision for me here
Do you guys check the law school ranking by law field? For example, if you want to practice health law, U of Wash in St.Louis is the first school, comparably Berkley is the first in intellectual law. Is general ranking of law schools more important for you (considering you know which law you want to practice)?
@ it was released a couple minutes past midnight on the day when scores were supposed to come out for june 2018 test
