Ok, who else picked C thinking they were talking about the professional relationship between the artist and patron who hired them?

I gather from the explanation video that we get to A because the frescoes were showy and religious .. guests would see them and hopefully be impressed. I feel like this requires context/knowledge from outside of the passage about the subject matter of the frescoes... or were we supposed to assume that Vatican = religious paintings?

E is logically equivalent?

Claim 1 - teens who don't drink took the pledge (because they already were not drinkers)

Claim 2- teens who took the pledge don't drink (because they took the pledge)

Are these explanations for a different question? For the correct answer, the explanation is about the choice not being supported and the author wouldn't agree with it... what does that have to do with the main point??

Riley said the speech was inappropriate because it was inflammatory. They never said it was inappropriate and inflammatory. If it wasn't inflammatory, the whole thing falls apart.. so why do we care about other reasons that would make the speech inappropriate??

I was attracted to answer B where the speech could be inflammatory but still appropriate.

Struggling to see why C is wrong. Is it because an 'argument' is missing? For example, the passage does not state "Taxes WILL be increased if Sherwood is elected."
