Does it make any sense for a US Citizen to apply to law schools in Canada? Is it harder? Any advantages?

Always wondered about that and had it in the back of my mind.

@ Hi Mister-eeee, doesn't the LSAT Analytics already do this for you when you enter your answers?

That's what I was about to say ... seems like there's no point of doing all this work when it can quickly be analyzed through the program

Ahh now I see, this makes much more sense. Thanks!

Hmm now I'm a bit confused, why would you need a clean copy to BR? Wouldn't you just go back through the test / section after you finished it, and then go through the ones you circled again (just untimed)

I don't see why you would need a clean copy, as you would have to refer back to your original everytime to see which ones you cicled

@

I am now having this problem as well. I am aware that you can "star" but I prefer to have stars next to specific lessons and not every single one, yesterday and the days before this issue did not happen.

Thanks.

@ i thought Cambridge lost it's license to sell PTs? that was true a few months ago, unless its been reinstated.

Can someone let me know if this is true? Was looking to buy LG, RC & LR 1-35 from them this weekend for drilling purposes ..

@.hopkins I'm working on creating a combined schedule that folks can use.

Wow that's awesome please let me know when you have that finished because incorporating the Trainer w/ 7Sage exactly would be so perfect!!

@ Do you remember any more details about this question?

It was about lobbyists and corporations regarding regulation and deregulation. Is this real or experimental?

Admin edit: Removed details.

@ would u suggest buying section packs (LG, LR, RC) for tests 1-35 for purposes of drilling & BR and then buy newer full PrepTests fur purposes of just taking entire exams timed (and then BR after of course)

@ I agree. The old RC sections are nowhere near as difficult as today's RC. If anything, the old RC sections are great for getting accustomed to and practicing the type of language and subject matter on the section, but the questions are far more straightforward in my opinion.

For someone who is also contemplating the same as OP - would you then suggest only buying 1-38 packets of LG & LR, and just focusing on the RC from newer PT sections?

@ JY suggests doing 8 passages with Phase 1 and then switching over to Phase 2 for 8 pages.

Ah alright, this answers my q's. So that's 16 DIFFERENT passages, utilizing one technique for half and the other for the second half. But for the actual exam/prep test that you take, don't actually try to do it?

@ You do Phase 2 on completely different passages.

So do you start doing Phase 2 just whenever you're comfortable after getting down the idea of Phase 1? I guess I'm just confused on which passages or when you would start doing Phase 2

Does anyone mind answering my question in this thread:

http://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/4650/question-regarding-memory-method

It went unnoticed and I'd like to fully understand the technique :)

@.hopkins My preferred method of finding the Q's I used to drill/PS was to get a nice stack of post-its and mark in my 10 Actuals book the Q's for that assignment/set of PS's.

Can you expand on this? Are you saying you would post a sticky on whatever pages in your books had questions of the same type and then would go back to work through them once you've accumulated multiple questions?

@.hopkins For drilling, yeah, like, do 4 RC passages in 35 minutes or whatever. You're incorporating timed practice into your drilling. Problem sets are the same thing as drills as far as I'm concerned.

Two questions:

Would you suggest I purchase the LG, LR & RC bundle packs for tests 1-38 from CambridgeLSAT so I can begin incorporating problem sets/drilling into my studying?

Are there problem sets in the actual curriculum that we can download to also use for drilling, so far I'm not far into it (just enrolled yesterday) and haven't seen any

Thanks.

Was the LR question on lobbyists and regulation/deregulation real or experimental section?

@ Thanks Nicole, so just do more timed practice tests before completing the Syllabus, or would you recommend, skipping the problem sets in the syllabus and coming back to them after completing everything & taking the timed practice tests that have those sections in them?

This is kind of what I'm wondering too - I just started the curriculum, should we go through it all first before starting to go through problem sets/drilling/PT?

@ I got the LR experimental section today and I think it was the first one.

Was your order - LR, RC, LR, LG, LR?

really hope it wasn't cause my first LR was the one I felt the most confident about and I wouldn't want it to be experimental :(

Can someone who also had LR, RC, LR, LG, LR tell me which of those you think was the experimental?

@ Sections are in different orders for different people. You'll have to base it off of the questions on the first page.

That is unfortunate, I can't remember a single question from the first section LR ahhhhhh

Can someone please tell me how I can figure out what was the experimental?

I had LR 1, RC 2, LR 3, LG 4, LR 5

Really hoping LR 1 wasn't experimental becausese I felt super confident on it, LR 3 was insane, LR 5 was average/above average.

Figuring out the setup

So I'm still going through the 7Sage curriculum and I'm sure (or at least hoping) that I'll get much better at Logic Games (before enrolling when I just tried them out a few times I was like -15) and as I'm slowly going through the practice and what not, I'm noticing the one MAIN and basically only issue I have with games.

I am horrible at figuring out / visualizing in my mind how to set up games if they are not simple 1 to 1 sequencing.

Diagramming the rules, coming up with inferences, all of that is coming to me fairly quickly, but reading the stimulus and figuring out how to draw the setup what rows/charts/etc to use is where I seem to get stuck at.

Any tips on how to overcome this?

If one were to use a book to supplement 7Sage with, what would you guys go with - Manhattan or PS?

Question Regarding Memory Method

I'm about to enroll in 7Sage and I've been going through the free-trial as of now, however I’m a bit confused on the phase 2 part of the Memory Method - do you do it again with the same passage immediately after you finished going through all the questions for that passage using the phase 1 technique?

Or is it like so:

Passage 1: Phase 1 technique

Passage 2: Phase 2 technique

Passage 3: Phase 1 technique

Passage 4: Phase 2 technique

Then come back and re-do all of them using only the Phase 2 technique?

Because if we do a passage once then go right back to it with the second phase method, wouldn’t we memorize a lot of the details/answers unless there’s a certain amount of time you recommend to wait before doing the second phase?

Thanks.

Hey LSAT preppers - I've been going through the free trial and I really am intrigued. I have a few questions before I decide to move forward:

1) I am currently thinking of signing up for 7Sage to get ready for the Dec. exam (or Feb if I'm not ready by then) and I am a bit confused with the packages. Which one would you recommend for 2-to possibly 4 months of studying? Because when I used the study schedule tool and chose the ultimate package for example, it seems to cram a TON of lessons per week (average time per week was 70 hours).

2) Regarding homework & PTs, how does it work - are they available to print-out in the course or would I have to buy them separately on amazon?

3) I have taken one official LSAT so far and went in with very little preparation (unfortunately due to arrogance honestly) and did not do so well, Logic Games were horrendous for me, so this second try has to be as good as I possibly can do -- I'm a bit unsure of the perfect technique, do I first go through the lessons and then start taking practice tests (and would I do them timed vs un-timed) and how would one know how many PT's to take per week?

4) Any recommended books to supplement with 7Sage (Manhattan, PS, etc)?

Thanks, I know I have a lot of questions but I really need to get a full understanding on all of my concerns before I go ahead.

Thanks.
