I'm interested as well depending on the time. :)
Also wondering if its RC or LR?
The post references PT54 S1 (RC) but also PT54 S2 (LR)
I will get a 165 or higher on the September 2022 LSAT :)
Interested!
I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I know that this may feel devastating now but this does not mean that you shouldn't pursue this career path. Definitely take some time to process what happened and to figure out a plan moving forward, but don't give up if this is truly your dream!
yayy! congrats!!
I think it's because Dr.Yuge never claimed to know if the light was sufficient. The premise only states that he knew that the moon was full enough at the time to have provided considerable light. So he knew that it was possible for there to have been considerable light, based on how full the moon was, but he never stated that there was a sufficient amount of light. It also seems like the a/c would've been attacking a premise instead of the support.
A/c E correctly indicates a flaw in the reasoning because it doesn't try to deny the fact that the moon was full enough to provide considerable light (like a/c D) but it brings up the fact that there could've been other factors that blocked the light from the moon.
Just came here to say that the "all v.s. some" lessons were really relevant for this question. Once I realized the wording, I went from unsure to very confident with my selection of E!
Even though the stimulus says that the game was "devised to test perception and memory," it doesn't really specify to what level. It could've been intended to test a 3-year-old's perception and memory, for all we know. With the lack of specification, it would be fair to make the assumption that the game may just require low levels of perception and memory.
I definitely relate to your struggles with this question, though, because I was also expecting to see an answer choice that attacked the type of flaw that you mentioned.
Even though I got this question right-- I hate this question lol
This question helped me realize how much I've improved with watching out for language that is too strong. Noticing little improvements like this is definitely a strong motivator!
I'd definitely be interested! I'm about 25% of the way through the CC right now and am doing about 25-30 hrs a week.
yikes... definitely a lesson to carefully read so I don't make a mistake like confusing "facilities" for "fatalities" again :/
That's so amazing! Thank you for sharing!! If you don't mind sharing, what was your study schedule like/how did you study to make such an improvement?
I think that it's not what the writers were implying. The passage is talking about how dolphins respond to the hand signal with different responses that aren't learned/memorized. This is implying that the dolphins are able to understand what the trainer is truly asking of them, because of their higher cognitive abilities. The dolphins aren't trying to communicate back with their trainer, they are just simply able to understand what the hand signals mean (i.e. "do something creative together"), instead of just memorizing certain behaviors that correspond with a hand signal. Whether these dolphins are able to communicate back with their trainer or not, is not really important to the question & I don't think it's what the writers were trying to highlight in that last sentence.
Hope this helps!!
such an inspiring story. thank you so much for sharing. congrats!!
definitely interested : )!
I am leaning towards taking it online (for the third time) because I am worried about the impact others around me would have in a testing center. I was lucky enough to only ever have good proctors and testing experience's, so that may be why I am more comfortable doing it online again. Ultimately, you have to weigh what you are more comfortable with, the uncertainty of the proctor/tech issues or the uncertainty of the others that will be around you in the testing center (making noise, getting up, etc.).
