I feel like B doesn't necessarily explain the stimulus (even though it's definitely the best choice here). Even if most AC use is by businesses/factories, couldn't it still be true that the (smaller) amount of residential use is what's overloading the system? What am I doing here that's going about this question wrong?
Okay now how do I do this without panicking about how long it's taking me to read the answer choices/stimulus lol
I didn't make the connection for q5. The way I read the statement, I thought it was saying that, if you are an org whose primary purpose is the promotion of health, you should be providing the "something necessary" vs not providing it, not necessarily making a judgement on other organizations. Am I thinking about it totally wrong? I feel like introducing the domain in this example completely changes the argument.
Wondering if I'm overcomplicating/if this will get me into trouble later, but for D, just because there are people in the audience that don't understand their musical roots doesn't mean that there are no people that do, right? Probably not necessary to point that out, but I feel like that makes D wrong for two reasons.
I haven't had to go back to reference the notes I'm taking yet, but I find it's been helpful even just to slow the lessons down and check in to make sure I am understanding what's being taught before I move on. Writing notes by hand has also always helped me with retention!
I hate the way the LSAT writers use double negatives in their writing, it always manages to trip me up!
Is it a stretch to say that the overall success is relevant also because the speaker is a person working at the company? Even if the company's position doesn't "matter" in the grand scheme of things, surely it's a reasonable thing to say that it matters to the people that it employs
I'm a little hung up on the app piece, though from the comments it seems like it's an irrelevant detail. Are we meant to assume that Walt is accessing/has downloaded the pass via the app? If not, it doesn't follow that he offered the requisite propitiations.
On Q6: I'm a bit confused about how adding "thus" turns it into an argument-- Even if the last sentence becomes the conclusion, neither of the first two claims can be premises because they do not support the conclusion, right? If it is an argument it is a bad one, but I'm not seeing how we can even make that jump.
This category of questions is cooking me
