the way i figured out this question is that the stim describes the consumer as rational in the conclusion and in the premise(sentence before that) it describes the conditions needed in order for a consumer to be rational. The assumption then must be that the consumer meets said conditions in order for the conclusion to follow logically. I think it always helps to try to think of the possible answer before you look at the answer choices, to avoid getting trapped.
