Melbourne JD CSP?

Does anyone know what you need to get to get a CSP at Melbourne? I currently have an offer for them which was given with a 159 LSAT score and WAM (weird unimelb lingo) of 75%. My WAM is now 80% and my new LSAT score is 161. What's my chance of getting a CSP?

Are scores still coming in? Do they stop coming in at a certain time in the evening and restart in the morning?

My question as well!!!! It's already 7pm there! I wonder whether they stop working or what?

I've got no clue. I'm sitting here in Aus and it's 10am on Thursday morning so I don't have a clue. My friend who lives in Philly (where LSAC are based) says most businesses close around 6pm but I don't know if they just press one button to release all scores on a rolling basis or what???

Ok I went to LSAT status but I don't see any marks yet. Are you supposed to be able to download the documents?

Then your score isn't in yet. Welcome to the hell of refreshing :'(

Hey just wondering where you see the scores on the LSAC site? Is it on the home page?

I click on LSAT and then on the right hand side there's a link 'View All LSAT Information'.

CC and PT 36 Finished - what next?

So I just sat PT 36 and got 167 - I'm stoked! My plan is to review every question I got wrong, re-do the logic games several times and then take a new PT. What else should I be doing in terms of reviewing and cementing material? I've got until September 17 and want to try and boost/ cement this scoring ability as much as possible.

I'm confused because the stimulus clearly said 'viable seeds' which I took to mean non-sterile, aka, reproduction is guaranteed?

I live in Melbourne and am attending unimelb as an undergrad with the goal of studying law there. The university is great as is the law school (I've done some classes there) and has great facilities. I love living in Melbourne (having previously lived in Europe and Asia) but don't like how far away Australia is from everything else. If you've got any questions about Melbourne, Unimelb etc feel free to hit me up!

When to take the LSAT

Note I am applying to Australian Law School meaning that my application is due in September 2017.

I originally took the LSAT in Feb 2017 and was quite disappointed with my score (it was 7 points below my average). Since then I purchased the 7sage course and have been aiming for a re-take for June 2017. I'm now thinking of pushing that retake back to September 2017.

The positives are:

  • more time to study
  • less to study each week
  • The drawbacks are:

  • more time juggling LSATs, study, my thesis and work
  • more time with it on the back of my mind
  • What would you guys recommend?

Hey I'm in Australia and studying for the June LSAT (our dates are slightly later than yours) but I'd still be interested if you are!

Thanks you've given me a lot to think about. June is the last test that I can do before I need to apply (Southern Hemisphere) so I can see me definitely doing a retake in June but it can't be my first LSAT. I'm kind of gutted because I've been casually (read: intermittently and slowly) been prepping since about June 2016 but with fulltime study, 3 jobs and everything else time is scarce. I'm going to devote this last month completely to LR and try to do a couple of hours of study per day for it and cross my fingers. I just checked back at my test scores and in early December I was averaging about 70% for LG which is when I put in a lot of effort for them. I'm hoping if I do the same for LR I'll hopefully see similar results.

I started using the Manhattan Prep flashcards app for conditional reasoning practice and I feel like my understanding of it is getting better so hopefully it'll just be a lot of drills as well as trying to finish the bible (though I'm still scoring poorly on question types that I've already studied as well which is my main worry!). I've also ordered the LR Bible Workbook and The Fox LSAT Logical Reasoning Encyclopedia: Disrespecting the LSAT (it had good reviews on Amazon). But I'm open to other suggestions as well.

How to Improve My Logic Reasoning

    Hi everyone,

I'm taking the LSAT on Feb 19 and I'm start to panic a bit. For each practise LSAT I've taken my Logical Reasoning scores hover around 65%. Comparatively my Logic Games are around 95% and my Reading Comprehension is around 85%. I'm completing all the sections comfortable timewise. I really need to improve the LR sections but I've got no clue how to.

I've gone about halfway through the powerscore bible. Do I keep going through that even though it seems I haven't grasped basic concepts? Do I buy another book? Do I just practise a lot?

    Help!
