Me and the gang consuming mercury for funsies
Kinds ≠ more. You could have a fixed number of lamps (say, 1,000) with only two kinds of designs and another 1,000 with ten different kinds of designs, but the overall number would remain the same. Either way, you have 1,000 lamps, just of different varieties.
thanking my liberal arts curriculum for teaching me about Moore's Law
I'm addicted to buying unbelievably expensive custom diesel trucks (yeeeeeeaaahhhh)
In a brief moment of lucidity I went to the truck dealership and told them "Do not, under any circumstances, sell me more diesel trucks"
I was back there half an hour later, wearing a fake moustache, and I said "Hello gentlemen, I am Ray Z, a man you have never met before. Give me 10,000 diesel trucks covered in diamonds"
Somehow got most of these right despite having no idea what the passage was saying (or not saying)
#feedback The link under point 1. is not accessible for those without an admissions consulting package. A bit of a let down...
Anyone else just now realizing that screensavers actually have a purpose and are not just images 'saved' to a screen?
"Guys, you're still trying to replace Giambi. I told you we can't do it, and we can't do it. Now, what we might be able to do is re-create him. Re-create him in the aggregate."
Getting all of these right may have been the peak of my LSAT career
Negation test stays winning
I understand that this is a 'least' question, so there's a lot of flexibility, but I feel that there's a pretty big gap in D referring to the "hottest times of the day" and "midday heat" referred to in the stimulus. At the very least, E helps to demonstrate a mechanism by which the ants can better survive in the heat.
I'm pretty firmly of the opinion that this is a terrible question. As an example, how would you interpret the following statement:
"The law of the City of San Bernandino is that multifamily housing shall not be built in areas zoned only for single-family housing."
It would be a pretty crazy reading of that statement to come to the conclusion that the only law in the City of San Bernardino is to prohibit multifamily housing in such areas.
Does anyone else sometimes find these apparently very difficult questions fairly straightforward, but then struggle on other questions that are classed as easy?
My gen ed environmental science class just saved me with an understanding of what "offset" means here.

For #13, did anyone else choose E because of the reference to the Florentine guild? Unless you assume that every guild had the same standards as this Florentine guild (which would make using them as an example redundant), that feels like something the passage is definitely suggesting
