Changing Format - HELP

Help pls!!!

I began PT93 this morning, when I began it was 2 LR sections and 1 RC section. As I finished the third section, I noticed the 4th LG section. This is pointless for me to complete, but I am concerned that my general score will be impacted if I don't complete this section. Is there a way to change the format so that the results for the three sections (2 LR, 1 RC) I completed are graded and the 4th LG section is dropped?

It's upsetting to know that I worked through those three sections and I won't see accurate results because of the LG section. There should be work to get rid of this section completely.

I think I could have gotten this right by POE if I understood the question stem to be a strengthening question. I skipped this one because I was unsure of what the stim was asking, at first I thought it was a flaw question and could not find anything in the AC's that was suited to my liking.

This feels more like a SA, strengthen question more than a weakening.

I'm so mad I changed this during BR simply because I doubted myself. I did this perfectly the first time.

I picked AC:E here the first round because I had the same assumption JY had. I wrote it out during BR and figured out it was AC:C through BR

Super helpful way to looks at this. I was also stuck in between A and B

I also picked AC:C and I was super confident I was right. I haven't watched the video yet (listening as I type) but here is my new approach after scraping my original way of thinking.

AC:C is wrong because it speaks to studies that have no serious flaws. Our study has serious flaws according to the stim, so AC:C is not applicable here.

Practice -> Drills -> Aug 2024 and later --> drilling mode

Then the question types will pop up as they are labelled in the syllabus.

I debated a long time on this one between AC:A and AC:B and I seriously do not get why A is being ruled out. I feel like it is not as general as B but ultimately, they say the same thing imo. Can someone explain?

I know this is old but I am going to reply anyway to spark discussion because I also picked D originally and this explanation video along with necessary assumption video made something click in my head.

AC:D is not sufficient for the argument to flow logically. Based on the chain created:

/believe responsibility --> not ashamed --> gen moral decline

The only thing that logically can fit into the space immediately before /believe responsibility is the * idea JY spoke about or the scientific theory that humans who view themselves to be natural objects with no control of natural forces. It is not enough to say that some scientific theories hold that humans are not responsible for their actions. That fact is helpful, but the assumption needed is that that theory will lead to a decline in morality. You have to tie it all together.

For SA I am seeing that the stronger answers are typically correct, whereas for NA the weaker answers are normally correct.

I'm planning to take the test this coming August. I also work full time and in the beginning of the year I promised myself to squeeze in at least two hours a day and not to beat myself up when my brain needed a break. I finished the entire syllabus today and now that I am moving on to PT's I am aiming to keep the 2 hour a day goal, but to tackle each section in 35 minute parts so I can fit it into one day.

I mainly study on my down time during work or during a day I know will be busy I wake up early or push through after work. What helps me with this is I already have several friends in law school and it is okay to think that the work sucks and that you do not want to do it. You just have to commit to the investment and still see it through.

Hope this helps. :)

I also got this correct and my strategy during BR was simply to rearrange to structure of the answer choices to match the stim. I initially picked A. Admittedly, during BR I did not eliminate A for the reason JY mentions, but AC:E seemed to match the stim without as much uncertainty so I went with that.

Proud to say I got to AC:A in the way JY highlighted lol

But I also did understand the stim

Something that has helped me stay on top of question types are drills. Don't just do the 5q drill at the end of the lesson. Go into the drill section and create a drill with a mix of question types.

Personally, when I do this, answer the questions first, take some time then go in and do BR taking as much time as I need. I also keep a journal for my wrong answers. (Looking a head, this is a practice J.Y. suggests later, so it may be a good idea to get a head start.)

AC:B does express a level of certainty that is not expressed in the stim, which is one reason that it can be eliminated. B does not respect that idea that AC and CC were "virtually certain" to be awarded the contract. It leaves some room for uncertainty, though small..

More importantly, the conclusion and premise that B describes do not match the stim. B speaks to an event it is inferring will not happen, whereas the stim is saying that it is "almost inevitable" (still expressing little uncertainty) that AC will be awarded the contract. This is what makes B wrong.

Hope this helps. :)

Did anyone else not know the definition of qualified? I thought my context clues were onto something..
