Think of it like this (I hate math but this surprisingly helped me):
Sufficient: 2 +3 + ?
We're trying to solve the answer because that's sufficient enough. It's straightforward and is a GUARANTEE/SUFFICIENT answer
Necessary: 2 + ? = 5
Now, we need to find the number NECESSARY in order to make sure 5 is truly the answer. If the number was not 3, then the entire math equation would be wrong
Hope this helped!!
I made a physical flashcard set with the question stem on the front, and the type of question on the back to help me recognize the question types better, but I also have been memorizing the basic rules and what you're supposed to look for while answering certain question types.
E is the answer because the standard keyboard, qwerty, was already more used and popular in general compared to the other keyboard, Dvorak. The fact that qwerty is already so commonly used compared to Dvorak is what makes it more practical. Think of it like this:
If you have an Apple phone, watch, AirPods, iPad, but you are on the hunt for a new laptop for your class. Your professor recommended an Apple laptop because it's easy and everyone in the class has an apple laptop they use too. you could get another brand (Microsoft, dell, etc) laptop if you want that might have other benefits, but why change if it's already so commonly used? Therefore, it's a more practical choice.
let me know if this makes sense, or if this was kinda a bad example
Because the argument focuses on cost and why seawater is cheaper/better, find an answer that strengthens that. What makes the reason "seawater is cheaper?" look better? E does. E is saying "wow, pumping water for irrigation water is SO expensive", and that makes cheap seawater agriculture look great.
thank you!!
I got C right and then chose A during blind review. I see why C is right, but couldn't A technically be right? Even though it's not in the timeline, doesn't it strengthen the argument even more because it's giving evidence from 2 decades ago to support the issues in the past 5 years.
my first difficulty 5 question that I got right!
Any tips on timing? I rushed and picked E first time around, and then during blind review, I took my time and then realized C was the correct answer immediately.
I'm interested!
