I’m starting to think the whole “low-res” technique is kind of bullshit. I wouldn’t have thought to put the distinction between “actual trials” and experiments simulating trials into a low-res summary. And frankly I don’t think the guy explaining this passage to us did that either. Honestly at this point it just seems more viable for me to use retention & looking back at the text.

as soon as I got done reading the stimulus all I wanted to do was listen to some Ramones, Siouxsie Sioux, Joy Division, Kraftwerk, etc.. the punk & new wave music that came out of the 70s was incredible.

I've been getting through these all super fast. The main thing that I do is try to figure out what basic role the excerpt plays in the stimulus- is the excerpt a premise, context, conclusion, principle, etc.. Then I try to find the answer that best describes the role that the excerpt plays. I chose A in under a minute because it was the only answer that said the excerpt was the conclusion, and based on my reading I could tell the excerpt was the conclusion based on how all the other claims in the stimulus were supporting it. I only skimmed through the rest of the answers, and decided against them all because none of them really described the excerpt as the conclusion. Hope this makes sense to y'all and helps you improve.

for some reason I got this question right with half a minute to spare. But for like half of the other WSE questions (even a lot of the easy ones), I've been choosing wrong answers and consistently taking to much time to answer. Maybe I'm just some kind of idiot savant.

I'm really starting to get a grasp on good logic from all this LSAT studying. if I want a kid to get better at anything, I gotta trigger the self-defense mechanism. when I have a kid I'll make sure he gets in da octagon with Jon Jones. thanks J.Y.!

if you want these kids to learn anything about the real world, you gotta get em into self-defense scenarios.
