I wish I had your problem. I am from Canada as well, although I am only BRing your PTs. I can't seem to get out of the low/mid 150s, and even sometimes I am getting 149's. I am guessing you are hoping to get into Toronto or McGill with those aspirations? Cause most schools in Canada are fine with a high 150 low 160 with a good GPA.

I got this right initially, but I changed my answer on BR because I read that the physicians reported 105 CONSULTS. Consults are done as a first visit, repeated patients seeing the physicians for the same issue thereafter are considered follow ups. So it is incorrect to assume that they continually perform CONSULTS on the same patients for the same condition. I know the out of town residents is a weak assumption also, but I don't think it is much more of a flaw than citing incorrect assumptive medical terminology.

The strength of competing assumptions in this question is horrible imo. I think my assumption that just because people depend on you doesn't automatically make you not afraid of dying is a better choice than assuming that people with a psychological illness aren't also very scared of dying.

It seems really unfair that extra time on an LSAT isn't noted in any way. Just read an article about the socioeconomic disparities among students diagnosed and given "504" status which gives them special accommodations - it's bad. If someone gets a 174 with extra time and I get a 174 in the initially-allotted time, there should be a record of that, if we're competing for the same spots in law school.

I'd gladly trade you places and complete this test without my accommodations, and get into law school without suffering from the aftereffects of a life threatening TBI when I was ejected from my vehicle and needed multiple brain surgeries after completing my undergrad... The strength (or lack there of) of your argument gives a great impetus that your example is far from reality anyways. I.e. Check your assumptions, especially when you blatantly flaunt them on an LSAT forum.

This question explanation is contradicting the CC. AC D is a without which is group 3 and it is supposed to make you negate the sufficient, like in the stimulus. However, JY straight up just cancels the NA using a group 3 indicator in the conclusion. #help#help#help

Hi Michele. I am interested, I actually live just outside Toronto so EST works great for me. I am looking at writing June or August if needed as well. Maybe we can pick each others brains for different thought processes for certain questions!

I don't like how dumpster he made E to sound, I think if you negate E like: there is evidence that a test can affect children so young, then it makes you question the conclusion. How are autistic children going to benefit more from this new test if they were able to detect it earlier from evidence prior?

Legit dumb that you have to assume that the main street location is the name of that location and that Walnut Lane may not be the name of the main street location... I have to assume lane is not a street?? WTF

I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. My running joke to myself is "as soon as I learn how to read, I will crush this test."

I empathize with this comment both theoretically and emotionally. Thank you, and I wish you all the luck on your road to literacy as well! XD

Am I actually Dyslexic?

Has anyone else come to the point in their studies where they are beginning to think they have a cognitive disability when it comes to reading during this test?

For instance the other day, I went a whole 10 to 12 minutes thinking that the question was talking about Flies, the Red, Green, and Yellow kinds. Even after BR, the entire time, flies. Then after watching the explanation, JY starts talking about Red files, green files, and yellow files.... -_-

I am done the CC and have put in about 500 hours + of practice/study time in the last 2.5 months. At this point and realization I do not think there is any hope in hell that I can actually ever score a 160 when I can't even read properly......

Hi! I have the same goal as well. I have just finished the CC and am looking for a group to study with for the June and/or Aug test, as well as help each other see things through a better perspective based on our strengths. I can do your Monday to Friday PM schedule and am free for both weekend times. I started my LSAT practice on Dec 28th and haven't missed a day since (besides new years).

You can definitely do it, I was in the same boat as you about 2 weeks ago when I couldn't get my PT score up. However, it does take a bit of dedication and grind. I started on new years day this year with a 141 raw and a 145 BR. I haven't missed a day since new years of either CC or just practicing LG or LR. I put in about 2 to 3 hours a day 7 days a week. On very busy days just 1 hour (but this has only happened a few times). I scored a PT this weekend at a 155 raw and a BR of 167. :) there is hope!

So what I am getting from this is that in flaw questions, if you can't figure out what the argument flaw is, you just pick the next best assumption that would make the premises a flaw i.e. this is now a quantity flaw after assuming the argument makes the mistake in identifying right handedness numbers in compared to L .

I really hope that more recent tests actually write in better English cause a lot of these questions from the 90's are worded like ass and require you to assume words in the answers.

So in one question you can properly call the sub conclusion the sub conclusion in the AC, but in another you can call the sub conclusion the conclusion and its still correct? how does that make sense, this is not a conclusion, it's a sub conclusion, or another premise, that supports the real conclusion. God this test is all over the place.
