Hello all!

I am planning on retaking the LSAT on January after having taken it in August 2023 and not getting the score I wanted.

I wanted to know if there was anyone else in the area that was going through a similar timeline on taking the LSAT in January 2024 so I can have a support group that speak with! I work full-time as a paralegal and get to study for 2-3 hours in the evening + weekends. I got a 140 in August and I'm hoping to improve my score by atleast 15 points.

I'm in FL but wanting to go to MA for Law School. Also any advise on that transition is greatly welcomed !

Thanks!

Hi all! I am registered to take the January 2024 (+ potentially February) test and was wondering if anyone would like to form an in-person study group. I have been studying for ~6 months and am looking to fine-tune my skills and stay motivated.

Zoom works as well!

Hello all!

I am looking to start a LSAT study/discord group where we can have set times to meet and discuss certain topics (conditional statements, LR questions types, etc), strategies, as well as review PTs.

I am PST and am hoping for something either evenings or Sundays. Time has yet TBD.

My hope is that I can gather enough people to sort of allow more groups to splinter off, just so there are times that can work for everyone--maybe a group Monday evenings from 6-8p; then a group Sunday 12-2p, or something of the sort.

A little about me: I work part-time and am working my way up through PTs. I'm around the early 20's currently. I have availability at strange times in the afternoon and usually during the evening, as well as on Sunday. I am aiming for 180. It'd be cool to get other like-minded people to gather.

Since the LSAT is all about critical reading skills and tenacity, I am only looking to work with serious minded learners who are committed to participating in an enriching study group. That being said, please PM to ask for the discord link. Commenting on this post will not suffice! Yes, lol, this is a real "did you read the syllabus" moment. But again, I will gladly send a discord link to those who PM me!

Thank you and good luck!

Hello, I'm looking for people to hold each other accountable to a regular schedule and to work through PTs/Practice Sets. I'm West Coast and work full time so I will only be available >6pm PST. I'm planning to use Discord which you can add me on as Azimoth#0071 or DM me for a link to the server (I don't want too many people randomly joining who won't be active).

Here's an outline of the study plan I was thinking:

Monday: Take a [time] Practice Set whenever you want, then we discuss what we missed later.

PT70 S1 (LR), 7:00pm review (what I'm doing this week)

Tuesday: TESTING TUESDAY! Take a [timed] PT with simulated flex whenever you want during this day.

Full Practice Test, PT87 (Simulate Flex) (what I'm doing this week)

Wednesday: Go over what we missed on the Practice Test from the day before.

PT87 review, 7:00pm (what I'm doing this week)

Thursday: Take a [time] Practice Set whenever you want, then we discuss what we missed later.

PT70 S2(RC), 7:00pm review. (what I'm doing this week)

Friday: day off

Saturday/Sunday: Take a [untimed] Practice Set together and talk through our thought process

PT70 S3 (LG). Work together, untimed. Time TBD

The next week will follow a similar schedule, working up in practice set numbers and down in practice test numbers so that by the April LSAT we'll more or less have covered the 20 most recent prep tests. We'll also rotate which section we do together so that we'll have experience doing each section type alone, and with each other.

Looking for a study buddy in Korea to polish games down to -0 & get LR/RC down to consistent -2 before June.

  • Sessions can be offline or online, but someone who's in the same time zone(or, yknow, somewhere in Korea) is much preferred.
  • Sessions can be in either Korean or English, but strongly prefer someone comfortable with English.
  • Someone who broke into the 170s in their PTs at least once and aiming for 172+ would be ideal.

    Hello 7sage community,

I have been studying for the LSAT for about 3.5 years. Normally, time standardized tests are one of my weaknesses. I have been using 7sage for the past 2.5 years and recently finished the core curriculum (CC) in July. Some of the reasons why it took me a while to finish the CC is because one of my professors and I are trying to publish a law article at the same time, and I work. Since my first practice test in July after completing CC, I have been able to raise my score from a 132 to a 144. Despite the progress, I am unsure of how to increase my score anymore. My desire score is a 156 on the LSAT by April of 2024. I want to concentrate on improving in LR and LG to achieve my target score. I recently bought “The Loophole” by Ellen Cassidy and intend to read it soon. And have been fool proofing logic games too. Is there anyone willing to be my study buddy, who is currently PTing in the 150s or higher, or is there any other advice that someone can give me to increase my score?

    Hello all,

I have recently created a Discord server that can be used as a study group of sorts for upcoming test takers, primarily for those taking the test in January or February. Feel free to join whether you are a beginner or have been studying for awhile.

We will use this space not only to hold regular sessions to help out everyone along their studying journey, but also we have a messaging board that is open to all to use for whatever questions they may have.

Please feel free to join using the link below, and feel free to comment if you have any questions or issues when it comes to either joining the server link or making an account. I will be happy to help anyone out!

    Hope to see you there.

I have plateaued at about 167-169 with a BR score about 10 points higher every time. My goal is to close this gap as much as possible before January by focusing on timing, process, and specific weaknesses. I'm debating whether to get a tutor, but thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone is in a similar position and is interested in studying?

Goals: Specifically work on timing, process hitches, and targeting specific weaknesses

Suggested Method: For at lease one PT each week (in the 70 - 80s) reviewing any timing issues, missed question or questions that took a long time, and addressing why and brainstorming how to fix.

Message me if you're interested in studying like this! I am open to doing whatever works best for folks, zoom/discord etc. I am a non-traditional applicant and work, but I have a pretty flexible schedule.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I am currently looking for someone who can study with me and to also provide me with tips to get my section timing better. Just got my score back from November and I’m thinking I should retake as I feel I can get a few more points. I sit in the 140 range.

Currently, logic games is my best section and reading comp is my worst section.

We can zoom and I’d totally be willing to help you where needed.
