7Sage Bar Cancelled?

What happened to 7Sage Bar? I’ve heard excellent reviews from the course and was planning on enrolling. However, I see that it was cancelled, why is that? Which other prep course would anyone recommend?

Hi everyone,

I am running low on untouched, high-numbered PTs, so I was wondering if I could use the new PTs without LG to get some practice in for the June LSAT? Or would that be frowned upon? I just want to make sure it's a sensible thing to do because I want to practice LR and RC more often than I want to practice LG anyway.

Experimental Section

Hello friends,

Just curious when doing practice Preptests, you can filter to Legacy which includes 4 sections or "Current" which only includes 3 sections. I plan on taking the June 2024 LSAT. As far as I understand, there is still an experimental section on the actual LSAT so for practicing purposes are you guys doing the "Legacy" method of all 4 sections? For those doing PT's with the "Current" of 3 sections, what reasons do y'all have?

So, I understand that the argument is saying that because incidences of the flu were lower during the 6 months of the public health campaign, that means that the campaign was effective.

I chose C - there were fewer large public gatherings than usual during the 6-month period.

But the explanation says that C is wrong because it doesn't address the effectiveness of the campaign, that A is correct because it suggests widespread compliance with the campaign's recommendations of handwashing.

But this doesn't make any sense to me because handwashing isn't the only recommendation of the campaign. Avoiding public places when experiencing flu symptoms is also a recommendation. And if there were fewer large gatherings during the 6 month period of the campaign, then wouldn't that indicate to the effectiveness of it?

The explanation argues that A speaks to the effectiveness of the campaign more than C does because food born illness rates were also low, but what if people were not necessarily washing their hands as a result of the public campaign? Maybe they work in restaurants, where handwashing is necessary. Maybe they work in schools where handwashing vital. And the argument says that the campaign recommended hand washing specifically for reducing the transmission of the flu, what if people were washing their hands to not get sick from food borne illnesses, and the decrease in the rate of the flu was just a by product, which would make it seem like the campaign worked, but it didn't necessarily?

If the public health campaign's purpose was to limit the spread of influenza, and part of the recommendation was to stay away from public places when experiencing symptoms, and during the time of the campaign, there weren't as many large public gatherings, and the rate of the flu decreased...

I mean, I know that C doesn't necessarily mean people heeded the campaign, but neither does A. So how is A more correct than C?

I'm livid because this frustrating! lol

Also, I crossed out A because the argument didn't say anything about food borne illnesses. I also got other questions wrong for doing the same thing... crossing out the right answer because it introduces something new. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong?

How to zero out LG

First of all, I'm very thankful this is my problem. It certainly was not a few months ago. I have been getting so close to perfect on LG sections each time I take, but I seem to get nervous and miss an inference every blue moon, leading to scores anywhere from -1/-3. How do I keep calm and make sure I'm not making stupid mistakes for June?

Anyone near the Charleston area willing to study together? I find I focus more when I'm with someone else studying together and none of my friends can help me.

I've come across many posts by @akistotle they refer to as their "Cookie Cutter Reviews". These posts are super helpful and I'd like to read more of them. However, I can't figure out a way to effectively locate more of these specific posts. I initially found them in a comment under a video explanation, so searching the discussion forum obviously wouldn't locate. Would appreciate #help with this!

Hello, It's been nearly a decade since I graduated from college. Despite having a low GPA and LSAT scores for law school, I've gained over 10 years of experience in the risk management field at financial industry. I am now considering applying to part-time law schools to explore new opportunities. Currently, I am preparing to take the April LSAT, with plans for another attempt in June before any changes take effect in the August LSAT.

Should try applying this year or next year?

I just took a diagnostic after 6 months of having taken one (no studying in between). I am now ready to start studying with a consistent schedule and take the September Test. The problem is that my diagnostic score 6 months ago which included the LG section was significantly higher than my score from today, which I did without LG. Should I register for the June LSAT and try to study these next 5 weeks (mastering LG) and take it with the LG section, or should I just forget about LG and take it in Sept as the updated test version and take my time partaking on the other sections?

IOS app

I log in using my correct email and password, but the app on my Ipad and iPhone will not log on. It says "try again" but I log in on my computer and it works just fine.

I am registered for the June 2024 LSAT. Should I be taking the Legacy mode which has 4 scored sections or the Current mode which has 3 scored sections. I know that the June 2024 LSAT only has 3 scored sections, but the current mode does not seems to have an additional experimental section.

Please help me with RC!

Hey everyone! So I am consistently getting -2 or -3 for LR and LG, but RC is constantly -5 to -8... My scores are usually 165-167, but I know I could be in the 170's (my goal) if I fixed RC. Please give me any and every bit of advice you have. I have a lot of trouble focusing from time to time (think I might have undiagnosed ADHD... runs in my family and I have symptoms, but idk if it's genetic?) and I am usually good at reading but for some reason I keep running out of time and really struggling on the questions. TYIA :)

Hello everyone,

If you’re waiting to hear back from other schools, how do you go about seat deposits?

I know I can’t rush a school’s decision, so would I just put a seat deposit down until I hear back from the other schools?

How are you guys approaching RC when doing low res? Since LSAT is digital, you can't write in the margins of the passage. Should we just commit to memory the low res of each paragraph? Or are we supposed to write them down on scratch paper?

I haven't taken the LSAT yet, well, actually I did but way back in 2005. But I'm retaking it in August to go back and finish my law degree.

Here's an acronym I find very effective when studying LR and RC. It's called RCA.

It stands for REVIEW-CORRECT-ABSORB

This process can be done on every LR question and RC passage. First, do the problem. Then watch JY's explanation. Review what JY says, then correct your wrong thinking (or reinforce your correct thinking). And then simply by listening to JY, you absorb the material. I bet you gain at least a 1 point advantage just by listening to JY, who is very good at his job.

It's really easy and effective, but it takes a lot of time. I hope it helps you!!

What is Blind Review?

Hi! I am new here to 7Sage and wanted to ask about the Blind Review option for the drills. I'm not quite sure of the method I am supposed to do besides reviewing my answers before the answer results and would love some guidance on how best to use the Blind Review method for drills. Many thanks :)

AC A is correct because even though No creative employes are at the company we can not conclude for that that there is not one creative person in that company that it's what AC A is giving us

Admin Note: Edited title. For LR questions, please use the format: "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of the question."

We need to connect the assumption that the appreciation of the play and the attention, and thats AC B

#HELP Analytics Issue

Hi,

I was hoping someone can provide me some guidance. I have taken four tests (101,102,103) and the modern 84. I cannot see all four tests in my analytic page. It either shows me 101,102,103 or just 84. Can I see all four at the same time?

Best,

Stiv Mucollari
