Mainly the title but to add some context: most of the questions I get wrong I simply just misinterpreted the stimulus, whenever I watch a explanation video for a question I just didn't understand it always comes back to "I did not understand what I just read". To help with this I am actively reading on the side every day but if there is anything else I am missing please let me know. Furthermore, my analytics do not really show a pattern of question type that I am absurdly getting wrong. I have made study plans focusing on question types that I am not extremely confident with but I am wondering if I just need to take more tests or review the CC?

Hi all!

Sorry to bother but I really want to ask what I should do if I want to visit a law school and visit a class in the law school. I know I can register a tour from their websites. However, a lot of law schools I want to visit do not provide chances to register for visiting a class.

I really want to visit a class and what should I do? Thank you so much if you guys can give me some suggestions!

I’ve been stuck studying the LSAT for about 9 months now. I wasn’t preforming well the first 6 with the programs had so I switched to 7sage I’ve been PT’ing in the mid- high 140’s and definitely seen some improvement. However my goal is to break 150’s and apply in the fall. What are some tips/tricks yall have used to get you over that time edge? I have already registered for October and I plan on having that be my last exam since I’ll be working/studying for other exams.

Another concern of mine is this exam and being admitted. I’m not shooting for the stars and the schools I have are in the T100 region. I have all my other credentials in line such as a high gpa (Accounting 3.9), great LOR, and a lot of internship experience. The calculator seems to think I have a decent chance lol but was wondering if anyone has insight? Thanks.

Hi, so I have a Wrong Answer Journal and I now have around 162 questions that I have jotted down for LR

I’m wondering how I can go about efficiently redoing these questions being that there is soo many other questions I have not done yet that I may even get wrong after a PT.

I'm just overwhelmed with trying to redo them and getting them right the next go around. And the more drills and PT I do the more I add creating a backlog. Any tips?

Hi!!

I feel like I am not understanding fully how to properly utilize the wrong answer journal. I dont know if this makes sense but I do not see how I will improve with it nor do I feel I know what to put on the "How can I change my process to do better on these in the future?" portion. I was hoping someone could explain to me and possible give me an example of how it has worked for them? Thank you so much!!

Hey guys, so I graduated undergrad about 2 years ago, and a majority of my classes ended up being online at the time due to Covid, although I have already emailed a few Professors I had in person asking if they would be willing to write me one, I have gotten denied. At this point I feel really stuck and Im not sure what to do. I could ask an old boss but I have only worked retail jobs during my gap year or didnt work at all. Any advice? Is it possible to apply without any letters? I know its a stretch but im freaking out.

Hi all,

There's a lot of study groups out there for people in different parts of the U.S. and beyond that that are studying for the November LSAT.

Does anyone want to join me in creating a Pacific Time study group? Maybe people that can already meet at similar times so we're not spending too much time figuring out dates/times and can just get to material?

I am available almost all Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays between 2pm and 7pm Pacific Time. Let me know if anyone is available during those times and we can make a study group via GroupMe! We can start next week!

Let me know!

Is there any way to look at analytics of both obsolete tests and the new format on one graph? I just took my first Preptest under the new format and now I only see the modern preptest version, whereas I've taken like 12 preptests in the obsolete version #help

Based on recent tests and how 7sage grades question difficulty, does anyone know what the average (mean) question difficulty would be around? My guess would be around 3 (medium) but I am curious if anyone knows for sure.

Hello,

I am writing the November LSAT and I am genuinely so confused and over whelmed with how to get started. How often do I need to do a practice test how do I work through all the material? They removed logic games, how do I tackle the other sections?

do you think its better to take the same drill with the same questions or to take drills that resemble the test with the questions being mixed in terms of being really prepared for test day and the actual format that we are tested with

Posting here once again to source ideas for my LSAT study group. We do study groups (loophole and PT BRs) and game nights (kahoot and jeopardy) on a near daily basis but if anyone else has ideas please lmk. We have also been having some sessions dedicated just to conditional logic. Can add people if there’s interest in joining. I also have the links to a couple other groups so can invite people to those too

I have been struggling with timing and anxiety with the clock running, which I feel like is developing because I keep over thinking even the simplest of problems. I recently took a preptest and got a 161 timed and my blind review was a 171. Pretty big difference, and proud of myself for the blind review score. Most of my mistakes come from logical reasoning. I actually usually have about 1 1/2 minutes at the end of each section.

Any tips on how to learn how to close this gap that have worked for you guys?

Hi everyone,

I'm averaging around the 170 mark, and I'm looking for some ideas and variations for my drills. How many questions should I include in one drill? If I'm missing mostly the harder LR questions, should I do, say, repeated drills of 5 questions on "hard" mode (I personally found this to be kind of underwhelming, which is why I'm questioning if it's a good method.)?

I would also love to hear any drill-setups that others have found useful – things like the doing the first 15 questions of an LR section in 15 minutes, or targeting specific question-types. Any help would be really appreciated!

Hello,

I have reached the final logical reasoning question type: parallel or analogy. This question type has highlighted how much I struggle with mapping out formal logic. It isn't necessarily that I don't understand the principles, but rather, where to begin? Once I watch the explanation video and see the first step, I am able to fully understand how to continue, it's just the initial step.

Furthermore, I especially struggle with identifying all of the different logical reasoning ploys, i.e., reason by analogy, appeal to authority, sample to population generalization, and so on.... It seems like there are so many different subtypes that it's difficult to remember them all. Does anyone have a cheat sheet which simply explains all of these niche logical reasoning tactics?

Thanks so much,

Sav

Hi gang,

I have been trying my best to implement a low-res summary approach to my RC passages. However, I find that taking time to perform these low res summaries takes some precious time away from actually answering questions. Is one word sufficient enough for something like a low res summary? Any tips out there for time reduction?

Sincerely,
