I'm trying to work now to get my RC score down to the -5 range, and I'm drilling a lot on the passage types im bad at, and most of the hard or hardest passages I'll get 2 or 3 wrong, and on the easier ones, 1 or 2 maybe, if I get a good selection of passages its likely I;ll be in that -6 range. EXCEPT for spotlight passages; something about spotlight passages just doesn't click for me, there's a majority 1 star or 2 star passages where I'll get straight up 4 out of 6 or 7 ACs wrong, and I don't understand why, does anyone have any tips? I'm confident my LR will be at -4/5 for August/Sept LSAT, but if I can't get my RC out of the -7/8 zone I won't be able to get a 165
I am looking for study partners in Winnipeg. All types of scorers welcome.
Where do I find my confirmation number? If you are taking the August 2025 exam, does anyone already have there's already?
Does anyone know of tutors who help with the process of LSAT applications? Preferably a more individualized tutor rather than through a company.
I find myself getting stuck on a lot of weaken/strengthen questions in RC because I just don't know how to approach it. In LR I always tell myself to look for assumptions and overlooked possibilities, and in general think of making the premises less supportive or stronger support for the conclusion, and also staying away from trap answers that independently attack the conclusion or deny premises. However, in RC there's not really clear premises or reasoning so I find it hard to wrap my head around how we're supposed to then strengthen or weaken an author's argument, and whether we should consider ACs that seem to independently go against their position or give an independent reason to strengthen it.
Any suggestions on how to think about these questions?
You can export your Drill results from classic.7sage.com to new 7Sage here:

This will work as long as your email address for both accounts are the same. Unfortunately, BR results will not import nor will Drills taken on the obsolete 2-digit format PrepTests.
I usually do all Cs but recently tried all Ds & I feel like D was less common. Does anyone have a certain one they always do and why?
I have been doing really well on the first 60-65 questions of my practice tests, getting very few wrong, but it is in the last dozen or so questions on the final LR section of the tests where I am getting a majority of my questions wrong. I am aware that the test gradually gets harder throughout the section, but I am unsure why I am struggling so much with this part because I get most of the harder ones right when I drill. Should I be practicing harder drills? If anyone has advice on this problem, let me know.
Hey guys, I took the June LSAT and I didn't score what I wanted. Im taking it again in August and feel more prepared. I was wondering if anyone had any input if I should sign up for the September one or if I should wait till the October one? HELP!
Just looking for study buddies in sacramento area?
If anyones looking to join an online study group, we have one going on discord here: https://discord.gg/PZBfn3Rx
I never took science past grade 10, and know nothing lol. Do people with 0 science knowledge have any tips on how to better understand them?
Hello! Was working on this obsolete exam RC as practice and unfortunately only got 2/6 correct. Was wondering if anyone could please explain questions 16, 17, 18, and 20. Thank you!
I am confused about how to classify the different question types into formal logic vs. those that use informal logic. For example, would you classify MBT as formal logic because it uses conditionals, but WSE as informal because it uses primarily the spectrum of support? Would other types fall in the middle, like SA, which some answers/questions involve conditionals and the spectrum of support?
Greetings,
Are there any active study groups here in Boston? I would love to join and help insamuch as I am able. Thanks
I've become really inconsistent on my PT scores. For the last ~7 PTs I've taken over the course of the summer, I've started to jump between mid-high 160s to 170+ basically every other PT. I've scored above 170 enough times that it feels like those aren't flukes but I also cannot tell what is going wrong on the PTs that are on the lower end. Any advice on being more consistent? :)
Can someone please nudge me in the right direction with my personal statement? Mine centers around an event that had a significant impact on me in college. I included elements to give the reader a sense of who I am and how I think, but only one or two paragraphs directly address why I want to pursue law school. If you need more details feel free to message me! Thank you for any advice or feedback. :)
I take my LSAT next week, and I am in the low 160s at the moment. The literal only things on logical reasoning that is keeping me down are the conditional and causal reasoning questions. Are there any specific lessons from the syllabus that anyone found really, really helped with these? I know I could just rewatch all of them but due to my limited time I want to make sure I'm really prioritizing what matters here. Thanks! Good luck everyone
Parallel questions have been a huge flaw of mine in PT and drilling, does any1 have any tips that will help me not be utterly confused?
Hello, I am currently scoring 161 and have tried to join study groups in the past but unfortunately, they have become inactive or study at different times than I do. I study in the evenings east coast time starting at 4 pm ET to nighttime. Is there anyone else who would like to study together in the evenings and keep each other accountable? We could do it over zoom, discord or even WhatsApp. If anyone is interested, please DM me.
Is anyone looking for accountability partners/creating a study group? I am planning to take the October and November LSAT and would love to network/work with others to prepare
Looking for an accountability partner to do 1 RC passage daily. We’ll do it separately and then check answers together. Please message me if you’re seriously interested!
I'm looking for a new study partner for the November/January test. I study daily and have a flexible schedule. I'm in the PST time zone. Message me if interested.
hi! posted this on the new forum as well, but in case it didn't cross-post:
looking for some advice. in the past month and a half, i've scored 180, 180, 179, 173, 175, 171, 171. I feel like I've been studying just as hard and focusing on my weaknesses in the same way that brought me to those high initial scores. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently to account for the drop. I haven't been particularly stressed or overwhelmed, and nothing major has changed in my lifestyle. Maybe the PTs in the late 130s were just easier for me than the ones I'm taking in the 140s?
Has anyone experienced something similar, and do you have any advice? My test is in a month and I'd like to reach my full potential again.
