Hi I was wondering if anyone else had significant trouble with doing better in their reading comp section, and if there are any study tips as far as RC goes to help improve!

I choice A because I based it off on only about the subjects being paralyzed. I believed that was discussed more than the subjects having the presence in the room.
The answer is E: I was very debatable about this one because it also made sense to me.
Can someone please explain how I can do better understand the MSS question like this? Can someone explain how I could have gotten this one wrong?
please, thank you.

Hello,
I took the June LSAT and got a 165. I wanted to be more in the 170 range, so I took the August exam. I know for sure that I will not be trying any more after this one.
My gut feeling for August is that I scored somewhere between 165-170, but obviously I can’t be sure until scores come out. I’m wondering if I should buy Score Preview just in case I somehow scored worse than the first attempt? It seems like most people utilize Score Preview for the first attempt, but I’m not sure how a cancelled score would look on a second attempt.
Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!
I am currently studying with an intention of applying for entry in Fall 2025 as I work full time. Would it make sense to purchase CAS now for rec letter purposes from professors at my university. I recently graduated, but am nervous the more I wait, there is a chance they could forget who I was or not remember my contributions in classes.
Anyone applying to UGA have any examples of their personal statements ideas they can share?
Greetings, 7Sagers!
On Wednesday, August 30 at 8pm ET, join 7Sage admissions consultant Tajira McCoy for another panel discussion with law school admissions deans from across the country. For this conversation, hear from representatives of Boston College, Catholic University, Howard University, Loyola Los Angeles, Loyola University Chicago, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as they weigh in on the start of a new admissions cycle and continue talk on the Supreme Court's decision on affirmative action. We'll be reserving extra time to tackle more of your questions and hope to see you there!

PrepTest February 1997 - Section 3 - Question 13
Can someone explain why the answer for this question is not D? I can see why the answer is B but I wasn't able to eliminate D from the answer choices.

Not sure why AC A is the answer here. So what if two members of the household own cars? They could both own lighter vehicles. It says nothing about if they own a light vehicle and a heavy vehicle.
AC C shows that even the "heavy" vehicles are lighter and more fuel efficient than their predecessors while still being safer than light vehicles.
Just wondering what you guys do after you write your official LSAT? Do you continue to study while you wait for your score? Do you take a break? Does anyone feel a little empty inside after all the studying, anticipation, adrenaline, that went into just a 3-hour exam?
~ I apologize for any typos or errors & hope this makes sense ~
Hello, I just noticed that there's 2 version of the 7sage curriculum. The new one is V2, so obviously it's an upgrade (personally, I like it better). I just got through about 70 hours of material for v1 and when you switch to v2 all the progress goes away, but you still can access v1.
I'm trying to let people know that v2 exists before they get into the bulk of v1 and make the switch like I just did. It's beneficial to request the feature, because you will have the option of going through the same material, but taught in 2 different ways. If there's a topic or subject you're confused about on one curriculum, maybe the other version will clarify things for you.
The way I got v2 was by commenting in a comment section on one of the curriculum posts. I'm pretty sure all posts are monitored by the person who could grant you access to v2. I would just comment on this discussion and request v2. If it works, someone down below would have a reply from a 7sage rep confirming their access.
Whoever is the first person to see this, if the comment thing doesn't work please drop the email to contact 7sage
If it does work, then anybody could just comment asking for it in the reply or as a new comment! I hope this helps someone not feel like they just wasted time on one curriculum or feel discouraged when they make the switch!
Update: (9/18/23)
In the comment section, Cherry a Rep from 7sage commented the instructions. I'm not sure how to flag or pin the message, but look down below! look for

Are we allowed to have an electronic pencil sharpener (on your desk) during the test if you're testing remotely? I can't find any information anywhere that specifies if you can or cannot have an electronic one
I hope this isn't a dumb question lol
I know this is well in advance of the time; however, I was just wondering if I could in theory submit a letter of recommendation for an application for admission for the Fall 2025 semester right now and have the letter dated for that time. Thanks!
I started studying in July and am taking the October LSAT. I’m hoping a group will allow us to start a routine and hold each other accountable.
To Study I have been primarily drilling.
My goals for the group are: To hold each other accountable and set a schedule for us to meet, drill, review, & discuss.
We’ll focus on: Primarily Logic Games & Logical Reasoning.
When well meet: Ideally Twice a week (or more) for 2-4 hour sessions.
If you’re currently scoring above a 170 you are more than welcome to join, I just don’t want to hold you back because I’m not there yet.

I'm going through the Main Conclusion and Most Strongly Supported lessons, and in the problem sets I see I have the option to pin questions.
If I pin a question, what good does that do? Can I see all my pinned questions somewhere?
Hi there,
I'm starting to foolproof all of the answers I don't easily correct. This is requiring a lot of printing paper and that adds up to quite a bit after only a few questions.
Do y'all have any advice on how to storage all of the fool proofing I've done? Ex: wound few huge binders with a 3 hole punch work? Would a milk crate with file folders work?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
can someone explain why B is correct. i still dont get how it is.
Hi y'all,
I'm new here and am still figuring out. I know how to print drills, but I'd like to print 5 copies of a particular question from a particular PT, and I cannot figure out how to do so.
Any help would be great.

I live in Japan so test dates aren't every month for me. I plan on taking Oct LSAT, however, I'm worried about my score. If I apply ED, then retake the LSAT in Jan, will my ED applications be able to see both scores? Or will it go off of the Oct LSAT only?
Hey 7Sagers!
Aastha here from the 7Sage LSAT Podcast! Something I’ve always loved about being part of 7Sage is how active y’all are on the forums to help each other out. Because of this, we wanted to bring the 7Sage community onto one of our upcoming episodes.
We’re looking to compile the best advice you received when studying for the LSAT. If you have advice you’d like to share, please email Podcast@7Sage.com! Don’t worry about the format, voice memo or text is fine. Thanks so much for helping out your fellow studiers, we’re looking forward to seeing your submissions!
Question is I'm a rising senior and I failed a CORE -UA class in my freshman year, should I retake it (even if it does not replace the grade, so like solely for the CAS calculation policy)?
-Recently discovered that CAS averages the two grades taken for a repeated class and factors in any postsecondary course into their GPA recalculation. I'm assuming this is in favor of my application since I still have one year till graduation to fix things. However, the exact course catalog # is not showing up in my course registar searches so would it count to retake another course # under the CORE -UA (was originally a culture course, ex. on another topic)?
I am sending everyone good vibes for a stress-free retake experience. I never got the chance to take the test Friday and spent days angry and upset about it. Then, I scored a 179 on a PT this week (my highest score yet) which reminded me that everything happens for a reason. I needed this confidence boost going into the test and now I know I am more than capable of achieving a score in the high 170s on this retake.
The only way I can look at the horrors of last weekend is that they were a blessing in disguise. The LSAT is like a lottery -- and the test this weekend will be the test we were meant to take! Trust the process even when it seems impossible. We all got this!!
The score I want is already mine. The score you want is already yours. Let's go claim it.
explanation?
Hey!
Can someone please explain how to interpret rules 3 and 4 of this LG? (PT B, S2, G2)
3: "If y is not in, then either L or O, but not both are in"
How I interpreted this rule:
Not Y --> L or O
Contrapositive:
Not L and Not O --> Y
4: "If it's not the case that the park contains both L and O, then it contains F and S"
How I interpreted this rule:
Not L and Not O --> F and S
Contrapositive:
Not F or Not S --> L or O
In the explanation video, JY has a world where L, O and Y are all in, and I don't understand how we got there. I'm sure I'm missing some kind of bi-conditional lesson, or something. Did he just "negate" rule 3 by just the wording like: "if L and O are both in, Y is in," and that's how we got a possible world where L, O and Y are all in? Please help me lol

Hello,
I am looking for a study group in the Boston area. I’m hoping to meet up and review prep tests and sections. Hoping to hammer out more specifics once a group is formed but at least three days a week of two hour sessions.
I’m a really firm believer in the group study environment for the LSAT. I believe it’s conducive to not only be around like minded individuals to motivate for studying, but also to teach and be taught by others.
I work a 9-5 in Cambridge and am very accessible to meet up and study in the in between time. I also have good access with the MBTA to get around when needed. Please let me know if you’re interested!
Hi! Not sure if this is a weird request but TLDR: trying to do one practice test a day (MINUS THE LOGIC GAMES SECTION) with someone over zoom (or something) because I keep getting distracted while taking tests and it's bad! Also I've never had a study buddy before and I feel like it would be nice.
Looking for someone who is willing to do this with me from 10:30 AM ET to 12:30 PM ET or so (can go a bit earlier or later, I'm actually pretty flexible with time so just reach out if you're even a little interested! It doesn't even have to be every day). We can use the leftover time to go over wrong questions (which there won't be a lot of, hopefully!!) and concerns/strategies. Again, not looking to do the logic games sections together. Currently scoring in the 177 range but am looking for a 180. Sorry if this sounds kind of hellish!! Please DM me if interested :) I'm currently on ptest 70 or so because I started at like 65 or something, but am flexible with which ptests we do.
🔢 I'm currently scoring: 177-178
📆 My planned test date: Sept 7 or maybe 8 I forget
📈 To study, I have been: Taking 1 ptest a day, just started trying drills on hardest mode
🔑 My goals for this group are: to hold each other accountable
🔍 We'll focus on: Reading Comp and Logical Reasoning
📚 When we'll meet and what we'll do: Daily, hopefully? Or even every other day, or even once every 3 days. Kind of up to you/how many people are okay with this LOL
✅ How to join: DM me if interested! If it ends up being a group that'd be nice.
If this is relevant, I'll be doing the questions w paper and pencil and also will be in a starbucks or something! Also I'm a woman if that makes you more comfortable.
