Hi all, I was wondering what are some KEY lessons/videos/sections in the syllabus that I should definitely watch to help keep my mind refreshed and alert for the types of questions or important relationships that are constantly seen in the LSAT. I'm fairly new to the 7sage curriculum (I finished the LSAT Trainer curriculum) and I don't have time to watch all the videos by 7sage even if I want to.

I hope this makes sense, thank you so much in advance!!

In 2014, I had a traffic violation: HOLDER OF LEARNER'S PERMIT DRIVING W/O REQ. SUPERVISION. I entered a guilty plea, and judge gave me Probation Before Judgment. Obviously, I need to disclose it, but does this necessitate a Character and Fitness Addendum?

...are the facts in the LR questions and RC passages true? I keep telling my friends fun facts that I learn from LSAT practice and I want to be sure I'm not spreading fake news. Of course I know I need to account for context, time of publishing, and writer opinion.

Can anyone who has already taken the LSAT Flex explain the scratch paper situation? I ask primarily because a friend who just took the GRE said she was told by one of our other friends that she had to use a white board (to prove all test material was erased) before the end of the test, and this ended up being true for her on test day with no advanced notice from official test services. I know GRE is different, but I just want to be 1000% sure I'm prepared with everything I need for the November test. Thanks in advance!

PT 81 RC from the very first section completely threw me off, to the point where I just didn't want to move onto the other sections

I stopped at the last passage because of the not-so-good feeling about the entire rc section.

I know that if I don't continue the pt, it won't be reflective of the actual test condition, but at the same time, I just feel like I'm going to be devastated if I finish the pt and see the result..

Should I just keep drilling other rc passages before I return to PT 81 rc at some point, at other time?

Hi all,

Is there a way to see a list of schools that have granted you an application fee waiver through LSAC's website?

I signed up for LSAC/CAS a few years back, but had to postpone applying due to my financial situation. As such, I have tons of emails from various points in time offering application fee waivers, but several don't list expiration dates/I'm certain at least a few got buried in my inbox.

Since the fee waivers are usually automatically applied through LSAC, I assume there is a way to find this information before you actually submit your applications. However, I can't seem to find this in any easily accessible location. I'm trying to keep costs down/may attempt to obtain a waiver from my target schools if they do not proactively offer one, but don't want to make a bad impression by asking for something they already gave me.

Any tips are appreciated - thanks!

Note: I am gathering my admissions materials before starting the applications within LSAC's site. If you have to actually start the formal submission process to see this information, I would not have seen that yet.

So I already have two LSAT scores: 161 and 168. I was scoring high 160s and early 170s on my PTs in preparing for the October flex and aiming for a T 14 school.

But during the first section (LG) I made a stupid mistake and kinda completely lost control over my head. I had a semi-panic attack and legit had to focus on breathing for a few minutes during the entire test. I'm pretty sure that I won't get an over 170 score nor somewhere even close to high-160s, so I'm really confused as to whether I should cancel my score.

Do you think I should cancel? I've heard canceling is for pretty dire situations, but I'm still a bit shocked from how terrible my October experience was. Is it better to have taken the LSAT four times and show score inconsistency, or have three scores with one cancellation?

would appreciate any and all advice!!

I don’t know if anyone knows the answer to this but I am wondering if anyone knows whether you can essentially do macro level social work with a law degree or if you need an MSW? Things like community outreach/research, advocacy and lobbying for social policy change, etc

Hey guys,

I am applying to Texas public schools this cycle and I was curious if anyone has any experience on here using the Hazelwood Act. My understanding is that its a state law that grants veterans from Texas a tuition exemption for public school graduate programs. I have talked briefly with admissions people at UT and they confirmed my understanding of the program, and so, being a veteran, I was hoping I could go to law school for free (if I can get admitted, of course). Even though they confirmed how I think the program works, I wanted to post here and see if there were any vets who had gone this route, and if they actually got a complete tuition exemption for their 3 years of law school. To be honest, I can't help but harbor some doubt since the whole program seems too good to be true.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I am considered an "international" applicant if I have a bachelor's degree from an American college (well-known, located in the US). I am not a U.S. citizen nor a green card holder. I'm asking if I should check the box "international" when I use these law school predictors on different websites.

I stupidly have not completed the writing sample for the October exam yet but I am doing it today. With the score release day being October 23 and the fact that it can take 1 to 3 weeks to process the writing sample, I am wondering if people think I will get my score on the release day. And if not, since I purchased score preview, will I still be able to potentially cancel it before its released?

How much can be in the room for your lsat writing since they ask you to give a full room scan? Like should I move a bunch of my stuff out of view or do they expect there to be things since you’re doing it at your own house?

When you’re doing a necessary assumption question and an answer choice seems like it would be the answer to a must be true / most strongly supported question does that mean you should eliminate it?

Hello fellow 7Sagers!

Long time reader, first-time commenter, here. I just completed my second LSAT exam. I canceled my first score, which was probably for the best, because of problems related to LSAC. They didn't send enough tablets for my first exam and having to come back and prepare myself for the make-up exam just bummed me out. Anyway, I have been studying for a very long time. I have been planning on taking the LSAT for over three years and have studied (off and on) at different levels of seriousness over that period. I felt super prepared for the exam. I don't know how it would be possible to be more prepared. I consistently scored 172-173 on PTs leading up to my exam date. And, my mistakes were always something silly; a consequence of not paying enough attention to stimuli on easier questions.

During the actual exam, I felt like I was on auto-pilot. I had never experienced that during PTs. I finished each section under time and feel good about LG. But, I have no idea how my LR and RC went. I have read a few posts of other students talking about this same feeling. But, I have not found a post about whether those same students received their expected score. Can someone please tell me if this is a good thing (haha)? I feel like my intuition has been conditioned to choose the correct answer through the course of my studies. But, my post-LSAT anxiety is forcing me to seek the advice of the people more experienced with the harsh reality of real LSAT performances and scores.

Could @"Juliet --Student Service--" or maybe another instructor let me know if this is normal?

Can someone please explain these to me. I don't understand them at all and I have reviewed the lesson over and over again. I always end up picking the SA as my answer. PLEAAASEEEE!!!!!!! #help
