Hey all, I'm looking for study buddies who are in the 155-165 range available to study/drill/review together to prepare for the Jan LSAT. Studying alone can sometimes be boring and not motivating so looking to find motivated people who want to try to get 170s on the jan lsat!! Comment if you are interested and we can do a zoom session. Im from Canada EST

Hi everyone,
I’ve finished the 7Sage curriculum and just read The Loophole. I’m wondering if anyone who has read The Loophole would be interested in working on some questions together. I’d like to practice using the Party Trick and the Powerful/Provable Primers. Let me know!
We just gave our Law School Predictor a major update. Please check it out and let me know what you think! I'm eager to hear how else we can improve it.
What is the purpose of Blind Review on drills and PT's? It says strongly recommends.
We won't have that option when taking the exam, so to me it just feels like it makes me second guess myself.
Hi guys,
Looking for a virtual study buddy to go over questions with and explain questions and answers to each other - can be daily or weekly or something in between, very flexible on time. I'm roughly in the 170+ range, but happy to study with anyone (though might be more beneficial for both of us if you test in the 160s or higher).
Central time zone but not necessary!
Feeling discouraged after October test results were lower than scores on PTs. Advice for how to start studying again and improve for January or February test? Is it possible to improve score by 10 points in that timeframe?
"....is committed to fostering a culture where diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion are ingrained into everything we do. You are encouraged to submit an optional essay that reflects how you can add to or support that commitment."
This is the prompt for one of the law schools I am looking at. I am clarifying. Is this asking how I am diverse and will add to the diversity of the campus? Or is it asking to demonstrate how diversity is important to me and how I am committed to it?
I'm having a hard time understanding my results after blind review. In terms of answer key and such. Is the first part of your answer column the first answer I picked? And is the second next to it what I changed in blind review? What is the color of the correct answer? Ugh I hope this makes sense. I guess is there like a key to use to decipher? Blue means incorrect, pink means right, but at what point did I get it right? How do I know if I changed a right answer to a wrong answer after blind review?
Just took my first LSAT in November and was very disappointed with my score, feeling like it didn't represent my abilities on this test. My PT average leading up to the test was a 166-167, and I scored a 166 on PT158 (under normal test day conditions) just 2 days prior to taking the LSAT. I ended up scoring a 158 on the real exam.
I will need to be a super splitter candidate to get into the law schools I want to due to a lower (but upward trending) GPA, and need a 170+ score. I'm willing to spend however long it takes to reach that point.
So do you think I should cancel my score as it was a whole 8-9 points under my PT average, or should I keep it?
I would appreciate any feedback!
So here is how I feel about it without revealing too much info. I took the Nov 9 LSAT.
The RC was very very hard. I seriously panicked because I was running out of time. Was kinda happy tbh, to hear so many struggled with the same one I did... it included the section about invasive plants.
I am however a bit scared to see my score. For some strange reason I actually thought the 3 LR sections were super easy... Like to the point that I had 5 min remaining in some to review the ones I struggled with. This has made me feel like maybe I screwed up.
I did just start studying again for the January exam and have been drilling with LR and I am noticing that out of 20 questions I am only missing like 2 or 3... So maybe I am just actually doing well?
Anyone else feel the same about the logical reasoning? Feel free to vent and just share. Nice to know one isn't alone in this.
Hey so I'm planning on taking my first preptest since my diagnostic, and I was wondering if I would be able to import the diagnostic results I took on LawHub into 7sage for the analytics?
I tried looking at reddit and google and couldn't find anything
Hi everyone,
Most of my applications are finalized and ready to submit, but I don’t have an LSAT score on file yet. My score won’t be available until after I take the test in January. Would it be better to wait to submit my applications until then?
Hi! I'm looking for a study buddy to keep accountable with. I'm currently working on my undergrad in Chinese Language and hoping to take the LSAT in April. I'm on Eastern Standard Time.
My goal score is mid to high 170s. My current study plan is to do 2 preptests a week and wrong answer journal.
Whatsapp for communication is my preference, but I also have Discord. Anyone who is interested, please DM me!
Study buddies interested in studying together for the April LSAT - Please respond below. Hopefully we can get a discord created or if you want in person, anybody who is NY based?
Hello! I am pretty new to studying and am trying to stay motivated and on top of it. Is anyone interested in connecting EST time! I will be taking the LSAT summer 2025!
In the Practice > Drills option, there are options to pull your questions from the Core Curriculum set, the practice tests that 7Sage recommends for drilling, and the set 7Sage recommends for practice tests.
Do people generally complete all of the questions in the Core Curriculum set before moving on to drilling or practice tests? Or does it not really matter? I want to make sure I have a good balance of exposing myself to questions as I digest the Core Curriculum, while also having enough new questions to use in the future for drilling and clean practice tests.
Hello!
I'm looking for advice on how to combine several platforms. I currently have the Live (middle) plan with 7Sage, and I am also using the PowerScore Bibles.
I was also hoping to incorporate both the prep tests on 7Sage and on LawHub but I am not sure how to work with these all in tandem.
Any advice on how to maximize these altogether, and when to start taking prep tests? I just began my studying and will be taking the LSAT in June 2025.
hi all. I wrote an addendum to explain failing a P/F class in freshman year. Not an excuse, but the program I was in was notoriously known for disorganization and lack of support. This along with some other factors including a grandparents death and hard transition to college, contributed to the grade. I said how I raised my grades after and my GPA went up. Is it okay to explain this even though it may look like I'm making an excuse for my performance? I don't want to raise attention to it too much and give the admin team any red flags.
Can someone please explain when the answer to a LR question would be 'X is considering too small of a sample size'? I feel like these are never the answer yet are valid ways to weaken the argument.
Thanks!
I'm taking the test remotely and wanted to practice on paper. Does anyone know if/how I can print PTs, and whether I can input my answers so it doesn't affect my analytics?
I took the November LSAT and scored a 156. This is pretty much on parr with what I was prep-testing and it was the highest score I had gotten on a prep-test, so I was mildly happy with it, until I saw the LSAT range for my top schools went up. I am having a hard time because although my GPA is a 3.68 and I have good recommendations, I still worry I wont get in. However, I entertained retaking the LSAT in January, but it would be after a long holiday break, and I work 2 jobs so the amount of studying I would get in before that time may not be worth waiting another month to apply. I need some advice on whether to use my current score and just hope for the best, making the rest of my applications stand out, or if I should retake in January and see what happens?
Hi friends - I took the LSAT in November after a couple months of self study and am here to improve my score for the January test. I know most of the core curriculum so am stuck on where to start with the material. Any tips?
Hi, I am reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and he's talked about "conjunction fallacies" and "base rate fallacies" which are reminding me of some lsat questions I've seen before in logical reasoning. Does 7sage cover these fallacies at all in any explanation videos? They're definitely trickier than standard source attack or equivocation fallacies, and they are hard to understand sometimes. It seems like you need to know Bayes theorem to fully understand some of these concepts and I don't have any background in statistical math or probability theory
Hi all! If you are in the score range above please reach out and let's study together! I would love to study with similar-scoring people to me and try to gameplan / get ready for the exam! Please message me!
Hey all,
I am currently signed up for the January LSAT. Recently, I've been stuck at the mid 150's score range for PTs, and I was wondering if you all had any tips that could get you out of a rut? I am aiming for 160+. Currently, I am just using the drill builder and attacking it from there..
Thanks!
Happy Thanksgiving
