Is there a difference in scholarship opportunities after taking the September and December LSAT?

I'm debating between taking the September or December LSAT. Is one option inherently better than the other? How does early decision factor into this?

As a rule of thumb, generally speaking, the earlier you take the test, the more scholarship opportunities will be available. It's not a hard and fast rule, however, and it is ultimately always better to have a higher score in December and apply in early January, than a lower score in September and apply in October.

As far as ED, this really becomes a function of the schools themselves. Some schools offer full rides when accepted into their ED programs, while others don't offer any scholarship for their ED recipients. So look at the ED policies for the schools you want to attend and see how their ED admissions work.

You can get good money with a score from either take. It really depends on the school and how that cycle has gone so far for a particular school.
