I tend to mouth the words as I read, especially RC passages. I don't make any sound but it helps a lot. Would this be a problem on test day?
It's absolutely fine, as long as you don't speak out loud, even muttering seems to be ok (I have done it on 3 tests, no issue).
Are you not allowed to read to yourself. It often helps me understand the passage when i read aloud?
No, you can not read aloud during the test. I know folks have have muttered too loudly and were interrupted by the proctor reminding them not to speak.
I have full-blown conversations with myself during LG and LR (yikes)
This is an interesting post.
I often find myself mumbling to myself on some RC-detailed passages and harder MBT LR questions.
