How many level 5 questions are expected? How many level 1s? What is the general distribution?
Do the tougher questions appear at the later part of the test?

The distribution is always random but general rule of thumb is that questions 1-10/15 tend to be the easier ones and then questions 20-25/26 are the hardest. Sometimes the writers will throw in harder ones at the beginning and sometimes there's some easier ones at the end but that's the general rule.
