Are December 2017 scores really supposed to take 4.5 weeks?

On the December dates & deadlines page it says that the test will be administered on December 2, and the score release date will be January 4. That's almost five weeks...I thought that it's supposed to be three. Am I missing something?

Yup. LSAT can really be this slow at releasing their scores. Sometimes they do release their scores a bit early but I think the June score was released on the exact day they said they would. So it can be 3 weeks or 4.5 weeks :(.

yeah, it can def take that long. I think December is a bit weird for score releases because of the holidays as well, but it is def possible for them to release them earlier than jan 4!

yeah, they have to keep checking the back of the book for the correct answers. It takes a lot of time.

The holidays is probably an important factor.
