  • Hello, friend. Take a break. Giving your brain time to soak is super important. I studied hard for a year and a half, and each of my plateaus were broken by week-long breaks. I eventually scored a 172 on the official test.
  • Hi, I'm in Seoul, and I scored a 172 on the April exam. Took me a whopping year and a half of consistent studying. I won't be joining the study group, but if there's any insight you'd like, feel free to reach out!
  • Try taking a break. Ignore the LSAT for about five days. My greatest score jumps came after I took some time for myself.
  • I know from experience that redoing them definitely helps! People grossly overestimate how much of a passage they remember. 7sage also recommends supplementing your RC training with articles from magazines like the Economist.
  • Miscellaneous games stress me out too, but what I've realized is that they're actually not THAT hard. Take a look at the miscellaneous games prior to PT 30. In most cases, the scariest thing about them is just the fact that they're miscellaneous. Of…

  • It never clicks. Like any worthwhile learning process, it's very gradual. That is to say, don't give up! Took me way more than a month to see real improvement.
  • @lucasjamesziegler said: I usually take 4 min set up per passage maybe longer. I would rather have a full understanding of the passage and go through the questions with confidence and greater speed. I 100% agree. I take 3-4 minutes to reall…
  • Everyone above me has already offered really solid advice, so I'll just leave you with a couple points that might be helpful. LR: Try the Loophole by Ellen Cassidy. The loophole tactic + powerful/provable spectrum did wonders for me. LG: Foolproof…
  • @"Mary - Student Service" said: @yhtkim Yes, you can search for words or find text during the actual LSAT. This change started with the August 2023 test. The previous LSATs (before August 2023) don't have the search function in the digital tes…
  • @"Mary - Student Service" said: @dominicfragale5 Unfortunately, on the screen of the LSAC Digital Tester, there is no pen option where you can make freehand annotations. However, the platform lets you search a word, highlight, underline, flag …
  • The Powerscore forum and 7sage's comment sections have helped me here and there. Reviewing the strategies in Ellen Cassidy's Loophole has been helpful too. With that being said, I very much second what kaiya123 says about moving on. I used to spend…
  • The powerful/provable spectrum in the Loophole by Ellen Cassidy really helped my LR score. Might be worth checking out.
  • ^ foolproofing is all there is to LG. Guaranteed improvement. In my humble opinion
  • Surprisingly enough, improving at LG is incredibly simple. Foolproof. That's literally it. Foolproofing is what got me from an average of -10 to -1. I was skeptical at first. "How is doing the same game over and over going to help me make inferences …
  • I swear to god the LSAC doesn't deserve to exist
  • 100%!!! No BR No PR (personal record)
  • I spent an entire week without so much as glancing at the LSAT. Not only do you deserve the break, I think you need it. When I got back to studying, I hit some of my highest PTs.
  • Hi! I have three tips that I think compliment each other very well. I'll keep it brief. Invest time in the passage. If you have a clear understanding of the passage, you'll be surprised to see how fast the questions go--and how accurate you are! I…

  • Hi! I don't think it'd be a massive issue to go out of order, but you should at least complete "Introduction to Logic" before tackling LG. Understanding contrapositives and negations is an absolute must. With that being said, I personally recommend…
  • While there are similarities between the two sections, LR and RC are fundamentally different beasts. Only drilling LR questions won't suffice. Given your time constraints, I recommend watching the first four lessons of the RC curriculum and paying e…
  • I was in the same boat as you, often missing 10 or more questions on LG. I worked through the Powerscore bible, then spent a solid month foolproofing around 40 games (https://7sage.com/how-to-get-a-perfect-score-on-the-logic-games/). Since then, I'v…
  • I understand what you're going through, and I think it's completely normal--and even healthy--to struggle with self-doubt. I personally recommend studying as systematically as possible. Write up a schedule and treat it like a job. Clock in, clock ou…
