Thanks for all the comments and may your dreams come true too. Best wishes! [tsamvelyan - When you're at UC Irvine, just look out for the older lady ;-) ]
If you do a lot better after being accepted, you can try negotiating for your first year. Unless you did a binding early decision, you have the card of withdrawing if you don't get more $ so schools typically offer up some money.
How did you get accepted to your #1 choice before taking the lsat? I thought lsat is 80% of the admission decision. Unless you never have taken the lsat before lol
Thanks @emli1000, @Nilesh S and @Marie4lawschool. Hope you all get accepted to wherever you've planned. And I hope to see you at Irvine @Marie4lawschool :)
Wow @Jonathan Wang, that is true mastery. You went BEAST mode on that LR section. Honestly, If I don't get accepted into law school this cycle, my goal is to get at that level for October, wow.
As long UCI doesn't go the way of UC Hastings, I can see them in their current placement (between UCLA/USC and Pepperdine/Loyola). UC Hasting used to be a pretty good before they started dropping their mediums so they can grow their class.
The advice that I've heard from friends too is, in situations where a consultant could make the greatest impact, the onus is even more on you to tell a personal story. I know that this is very true for Berkeley.
... in the inaugural class at UC Irvine and he had nothing ... stay in SoCal I think UC Irvine is the way to ... 'd pay half sticker at UC Irvine over a full ride ...
