Do you guys give personal statements/ essays/ other material you plan on submitting to schools to those writing your LoR too? Or is that discouraged. Also, are you able to read a given LoR to decide among the ones you have which one to submit?
Also it doesn't matter if the UG prof was in a law related class. Just get the best second academic LOR you can regardless of the area of expertise of the professor, or the class you took with them.

Thank you both. And I didn't think about keeping an LOR for potential wait lists. If I decide to pursue a professional LOR at all, maybe I'll use it for that. But I'm quite convinced I'll be just fine with my three academic LORs. Thanks again!
@Aidoe Yes, schools give out fee waivers based on LSAT score (but also for other reasons, too). You still need to pay the LSAC CAS fee, which is around $30 per school, although that can be waived based on financial criteria.
I've had my personal statement drafted for months already. And I'm also applying ASAP (as soon as apps open up) in September. I have one LOR writer already lined up as well.
If I were you I would try to get the three best possible academic LORs that you can and then one stellar professional/work LOR. Then use two academic and one professional LOR for all your apps and save the last LOR in case you need it for a WL.
