@dytmom_3x and @"Seamus ODriscoll" - In case you are wondering, I received confirmation from the school that they will in fact reimburse both LSAT and CAS. Definitely a good reason to apply. You can make all admission decisions after!
Once you are registered with the CAS, law schools obtain your information and based on that they send you fee waivers (correct me if I'm wrong). I hope this helps.
... From the LSAC:
What CAS Costs
After you ... pay for CAS, your account will remain ... for five years. The CAS fee is currently $175 ... /jd/applying-to-law-school/cas
Many ... schools require CAS, so there is often not ...
It's my first too. I feel pretty bummed, but I'm still applying to see what happens. I'm also planning to retake in June as a backup (if I don't get in where I want to go, I plan to reapply next cycle). Good luck and hope this helps!
thanks for your reply.
I'm still not sure how it works...it says for each school it costs $30.
So this is in addition to the $175 (for making CAS) and application fee each school requires right?
@stgl1230
@vduran1988 no worries. anyway, I believe CAS is available for purchase at any time throughout the year. I would purchase as soon as possible though, so that you can get your transcripts and LORs in...those can take time.
