I found it super helpful to do all or most of the problem sets while I went through the CC. Then I started “drilling” from the questionbank between practice tests.
For the time being it is only possible to take full length PTs correct? Is it possible that in the future we will be able to take individual sections, or even custom sections from the questionbank?

Simply put, they never use identical questions BUT logic/patterns/structures repeat all the time. This applies to RC and LG as well. It's the same clothing but colored differently.
For the infamously hard LG section, does anyone remember how many questions there were for each game? I’m thinking 12-13 for games 1 & 2 and 10-11 questions combined for games 3 & 4?
