If you haven't done so already, sign up for the LSAC Candidate Referral Service (CRS). This is how law schools can find you and reach out to you. You can also call or email the admissions offices and just ask for a fee waiver. -

If they gave you a fee waiver go for it. Nothing to lose but the CAS fee. If they are higher ranked and you get in, even if you decide you would rather have more scholarship support at a lower school it could help you negotiate as well. -
