There is a group 2 indicator (only) and a group4 indicator (cannot) in that sentence. So you can use either one, but generally it's easier to use group4 indicators as negations and use the other one as the logical indicator.
How are you going to figure out when to use this trick if you don't know the group 3 and group4 words by heart already? And if you do know them, why aren't you just doing it properly?
