I can't believe I'm in this position! Does anyone have any insight on how likely it is to be accepted from the WL after an interview? Do they interview a lot of people on WL to give themselves options? Or do they interview people they are likely to accept. ...
I'm on waitlist for NYU and I got a Kira invite-to do an interview. Any and all advice welcome and what kind of questions are they likely to ask, that I should be practicing? (other than why law/why NYU)
Paige, what happened after in that story? Did the applicant re-apply after being rejected or was s/he able to pull out from waitlist pool by updating the score?
Well Duke rejected a number of students and placed plenty on the waitlist.. on the day that they got to know they had broken into the top 10 so this could be true.
@"Nilesh S" based of that I'd be better off at BC. They gave me75k compared to GWU with the 60k. I also got 90k from WUSTL, but I'm not sure I want to practice in that region.
Do you think any of them would consider a deferral?
Navas, that is my plan, unless something unexpected happens with my score. From what I've heard from "experts", updating your score can call for an increase in scholarship and a boost in your waitlist chances.
