Wait ... Why would you pay this much money? You can get fee waivers from 90%+ of schools—I'm a splitter and have gotten waivers from almost all of the T14.
Send LSAC an email notifying them you would like to cancel. Be sure to attach a hand-signed letter with your request to the email. It shouldn't take more than a few business days for your request to go through.
Yes you can request a hand grader. I believe they will do this automatically if they notice a bizarre pattern (e.g.- all the answers are shifted down one number).
@Pacifico where did you hear about them doing it automatically? I thought it was only done upon request and you had to pay $100. Also, I thought you were out of luck if you made a bubbling error like that.
Thanks for this post, I am in the same boat. I took the Dec. test and I am still skeptical in my score and i am leaning towards retaking and applying in the next cycle. I have 3 LOR's on file and I was hoping I could keep those. Thank you :)
Do you guys give personal statements/ essays/ other material you plan on submitting to schools to those writing your LoR too? Or is that discouraged. Also, are you able to read a given LoR to decide among the ones you have which one to submit?
Yes, request a specific letter and a general one. Make sure to specify as much in the requests. Then, when you are choosing which letters to assign to which schools, you'll have the ability to assign the specific one to the school it is tailored to.
Also it doesn't matter if the UG prof was in a law related class. Just get the best second academic LOR you can regardless of the area of expertise of the professor, or the class you took with them.
