I remember my old lsatprep course providing us a percentages pie chart of all the question types. I believe assumption types are probably the most prevalent.
Mentally take note of it. Trust me, when I was doing my previous LSATprep...I was unnecessarily active when it came to marking up the stimulus. You just need to condition yourself to segment the stimulus in the proper parts that are necessary.

It definitely varies per person...
Find out what your goal is, and write as many prep-tests as it takes for you to reach this goal.
Many advise a minimum of 10 full LSATprep-tests under timed condition, but again, that varies per individual.
