Wait, you took a proctored exam in June, received a 170, and are still one point below the median for northwestern? I'm missing something... either their median went up, you don't mean official exam by "proctored" exam or something else...
It is hard to see that if HLS, Columbia, Northwestern take GRE that the Penns, UVAs, NYUs will be able to resist. Perhaps YLS and Stanford will hold out, but I bet everyone from Columbia on down goes GRE.
@shanedrider no, I don't think it's necessary to account for that gap in your resume. You might be asked during an interview though what you did during that time.

I'm not sure. I would recommend checking Top Law Schools Harvard Law applicant forum from either this year or last. They likely have a list of frequently asked questions.
I do know that the interview is a very good sign for your chances.
