@sx23 no but I feel dumb for sending them an email. They clearly say on their website that they waive the fee for any application received between 9/1 and 12/1 http://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissions/faq/faqjd.html
Definitely JUST wait. Do not email, call or check on your status. Don't ask if they rank the waitlist. Schools often will update you so it's a "don't call us, we will call you" situation. Good luck.
Northwestern? Seems like everyone’s still waiting on NU responses. Whichever school it is, emailing them won’t help. You could just respond to the email which notified you that you’re on hold and say thanks I’m still interested

Check email spam folder? You could also call the admissions office to check on the status. I guess it would depend on the school but I’ve received phone calls from each school I’m in at and an email usually came the next day.
I'm pretty sure they'll let you know via email, but you can also check your application status on their website. I think they also send you the offer on the mail.
Yes - it says that my application is complete, and it was flipped to that status shortly after I submitted. so I would still have expected a decision by now if not for the holiday break.
Did you email Gtown admissions, or a different school?
