are schools required to contact you / update your application to "denied" if you're not accepted? a few of my applications have been "in review" for over a month now and i wasn't sure if i will still be contacted if i'm not accepted.
... outstanding schools have updated the status of my application to "under ... have not updated my application status since the "application complete" stamp ...
I got waitlisted at UChicago and NYU, but also got waitlisted at UCLA and USC Gould. I have a 167 and 3.89 GPA. I also waitlisted at some other schools in between the ones listed, and rejected by a couple. What does this mean?
I see that I was admitted to a school on the application status checker but a week later I am still waiting for some kind of an official word i.e a letter/call/email. Does anybody know how long it usually takes? What has been the experience thus far?
