You can always apply, if you can afford it. The worst they can say is "no" or waitlist you. But if you never apply, then you'll never know. -

Got it ... /waiting to get off a waitlist? Or is a seat deposit ...wait list... FMLI have gotten admitted to my safe school, but I got put on a wait list for my preferred school. Are there any suggestions to up my chances?
Definitely JUST wait. Do not email, call or check on your status. Don't ask if they rank the waitlist. Schools often will update you so it's a "don't call us, we will call you" situation. Good luck.
