If by test you mean quiz/problem sets then yes. The printing can take quite a while so if you want to print out all the problem sets at the beginning then that might be a good idea. But no need to print out preptests until you've finished all the lessons.

To improve on LR, I don't think it is enough just to keep practicing preptests. You need to apply your knowledge of logic to the tests, rather than learn logic from them. Here is a useful link I found http://philosophy.lander.edu/logic/tvs.html
