If it's free and helpful, I'd consider it, but if it's expensive, then it's unlikely I'd do it because of other financial priorities and being scared about the costs of law school.
LR is a bit more nuanced. I don't know if I'd call it harder, but you definitely need to be a bit more nimble. It has one of the harder games sections... don't want to give too much away. I felt RC was middle of the road.
definitely agree with @canihazJD -- "although" can note an important exception and/or qualifier. I wouldn't recommend skipping any word on the LSAT. Reading without it once doesn't hurt, but I'd still return to it and see what it does for the argument.
Minimal if any effect... but also the same for a lower score you don't cancel. Personally I'd advise against it unless something catastrophic happens like you don't get to do half a section.
