Your LG score can easily be made to perfection in that time frame. Consider studying everyday for at least 30 minutes instead of hours/week. More distributed practice will have a greater impact on your learning.

I would apply now and tell the admissions committee that you plan on retaking in January. This way they can look at everything early and they'll just be waitingfor your LSAT score to come in
I was thinking the same thing, however applying in late January puts you at a larger disadvantage than does applying now and waitingfor your January score, doesn't it? Or do schools not care when you submit your application if it is not complete?
