How hard is PT 111?
Its questions are easier than most, and the curve makes up for it. LSAC sets each test's curve so a score means the same thing on every test: the harder the questions, the more you can miss for the same score. PT 111's curve is stricter than 78% of the new-format PrepTests, so expect a higher raw score than usual, not a higher LSAT score.

About PrepTest 111
Which section of PT 111 is experimental?
Section 3 (Logical Reasoning) is the experimental section on PrepTest 111. It's unscored: it's there so the test has four sections, like the real LSAT, but it doesn't count toward your score. The other three sections make up the 78 scored questions.
When is PT 111 from?
Most of PrepTest 111 was first given in October 2001. LSAC rebuilt it from two older tests, with no logic games: Sections 1, 2 and 4 from PrepTest 35 (October 2001) and Section 3 from PrepTest 30 (December 1999).
