Well folks, I'll still pop in from time to time, but my race is run and it's time for the next group of leaders to take it from here. I can already tell that I like the direction things are going. So for this week's picture/GIF, here's some of my favorite humans, in black and white, smiling:

Sorry this is so Euro/male-centric, lol. Feel free to add your own!

The Full Schedule

And if you’d like to see the full schedule for upcoming reviews, here it is: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=h14k4idvt1lb4hp5ujds97qt7k%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York

Note:

  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able on your own; then join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it.” KEEP THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOURSELF. Win the argument with your reasoning.
  • These groups work best when folks from ALL stages of prep and with all different goals join in! Not just for "super-preppers" and definitely not just for the casual LSATer (does such a person exist?).
  • The only expectation anyone has for these calls is for you to have fun and ask questions as you desire. We are just a bunch of LSAT lovers who gather via GoToMeeting and intellectually slaughter each test.

      That, I believe, is George Orwell. I don't know his biography so I can only judge by his work when I say that he is, indeed, and excellent dude. Definitely B&W, and yeah, I'm calling that a smile for full credit. Good add @476 .

      And that kinda counts towards our series. That's the happiest we ever see Gollum. So he's basically Smeagle at this point. Not in black and white, but I think he counts.

      @476.rizeq Clean the insides?

      And the outsides. While it's still alive.

      @jhaldy10325 Bonus karma to anyone who knows who this is:

      That is Jorge Luis Borges. He is an author/philosopher.

      This technically violates my "smiling" requirement, but this is as close to a smile as this guy ever got: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/f8/4c/03/f84c03d22a6725acd209b1e2d45052cd.jpg

      @tanes25413 He obviously hasn't watched Catfish! LMAO

      I know what "catfishing" is, if that's worth anything. Is this something I should have seen, lol? I'm old, so y'all have to tell me about these things!

      @tanes25413 Very traumatic!

      Indeed!

      He obviously hasn't watched Catfish! LMAO

      @jhaldy10325 Yeah it was pretty brutal to go from thinking you're going to give a fish a bubble bath to skinning it alive. I may have made a scene, lol.

      I never thought the fishy were going to get bubble baths! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard!

      This whole thread had me dying! I too had the experience of watching my relatives "clean" fish. My family has a lake/pond behind their house so there was fish at least once a week. Barf! I absolutely hate fish! I will not eat it and I blame it on watching them "clean" the fish on the front porch every week. That's the only thing I hated about spending the summers with my granddaddy. As a kid I just couldn't understand why that fish was still flopping when his head was just chopped off??! Very traumatic! At least I didn't have to watch them slaughter hogs like my mom did! Gross!

      umm, I don't know if I would like to eat something that went through that much pain. That's just straight out of a horror movie right there.

      I do not know. I remember a line from "Huckleberry Finn" where Huck says that they're supposed to taste better when they're eaten immediately after killing. Maybe that has something to do with it.
