Hello everyone- should we memorize the types of valid and invalid argument forms . I reviewed them from the cc but can’t seem to commit every single one to memory. What’s everyone’s take on this ?

Yeah I’ve been doing it mostly internally- but wanted to see if it would make a huge difference if I could pull them from memory. I’ll try to do a bit of both , thanks everyone

You can memorize them, but its way more important to internalize the rules. Understand why the argument is or is not valid. Spend some time meditating on that idea.

My recommendation would be to memorize them. They assist in seeing the general form of the argument given. This ability can save valuable time on LR questions.

Make flashcards, review the lesson every once in a while - build this into your daily routine. Exposure and repetition are often the best ways for us to commit these fundamentals to memory.
