I was wondering how others have taken this course or the best way to go about it. Does it make sense to just do the entire syllabus in order and then PT's?

Exactly what everyone else is saying, go in order
I didn't realize how well thought out the lessons where placed until well after the fact. The course really builds on itself. Don't skip.
My initial answer was "one day at a time". Lol. But seriously.. do it in order.
Yes; it's ordered the way it is for a reason. I can't think of any reason to skip around except if you're testing really soon and just need to focus on one section, but since September is a month away and you're just starting the curriculum I'm assuming you have enough time to go all the way through it and PT before your test date.
