Round 2

Hi 7sagers

I'm back. I took a 1-2 week break after the Sept LSAT.

I didn't log on to 7sage or look at any LSAT material.

Weirdly and strangely, I miss you guys. LOL From logging on everyday and doing PTs. Checking my work. Taking breaks and looking at the discussion board...and then just going MIA for 2 weeks, feels like forever.

My sept LSAT (first real LSAT) was rough. I was nervous and I found myself not 100% focusing on the test. But instead, sweating and thinking about the time. I'll be honest, I don't think I did that great.

I also didn't cancel my score because I wanted to see what I got wrong and learn from it. Another reason why is because 100% of the schools I'm looking at takes the highest grade.

It's be rough and really stressful. but there is nothing I can do now but prepare for the Nov LSAT.

I feel more confident as I know what the environment is like now. I will be back to studying next monday!

I'm excited....which is weird LOL. but I feel better. I know what to expect. I know the questions. I know the format.

I just feel better this time around! of course I still have the nerves because its the FREAKING LSAT! but...not as much.

I miss you guys! good luck to all.

BACK TO THE GRIND!

Thoughts/Analysis:

LG - I felt like the LGs weren't stupendously hard. Nothing compared to the dinosaur or virus games, but all of them felt like at least 3+stars, and there was a lot of brute forcing required.

RC - The comp passage was probably the easiest. The law passage was very difficult, because it used a two layered logic in its reasoning and the author was ambivalent on the topic.

LR - The experimental section was very difficult. The other LR sections were reasonable, and I would say about average. Not too many time waster parallel reasoning questions, except for a super long NA question.

wow...i think you described it perfectly for me

LOL spot on

I felt like it allowed me to perform average. I feel like it was one of the most standard LSATs I've ever taken. I'm hopeful~ Sounds like it didn't go too poorly for you?

My first real LSAT.

I was pretty nervous walking in and even when I finished, but now that I look at it..I think I performed around my PT...hopefully!

I feel like I could've done better, well I always feel that way...but I think I might take it again! I was wayy tooo nervous, anxiety ultimately got to me. Hopefully it won't be as bad 2nd time around.

hahah sorry for the long vent guys!

Definitely prepare to retake. Expect the worst; hope for the best. I think, on average, people jump up at least 3 points from the first to second test.

love hearing that! I know, we gotta make improvements. I know what I did wrong the first time. I now know the testing environment. It will only get better

We edited your posts. Please read the rules written in OP.

❌ Don't talk specifics about the test. (e.g. "I got B for the main point question of the judicial passage" or "the 3rd LG was sequencing") It can get both us and you in a lot of trouble! ☠️

❌ You cannot say “the 3rd game of the real section was In/Out game.”

hey guys, just reposting this here. watch what you comment!

Trust me, I wanna talk about it too and really get into detail but I would want this community to get in trouble.

Also, if anybody is thinking about cancelling, go read JY's discussion post about that!

It helps and really makes you think! You have 6 days, so no rush!

We are allowed to bring in 2 or 3 watches, right??????

Yes, it's generally allowed, but it depends on your proctor.

I brought 3. Left 1 in my plastic bag and wore 2 under my sweater. When I went inside I put all 3 on my desk. The proctor made me remove them and only let me keep 1 watch on my desk. They were also taking away people’s chocolate and groping my keychain. I had shitty strict proctors.

So what do you guys think I should do then?

I have 3 watches. I've been using all 3 on my PTs...should I bring them or just bring one?

...kinda freaking out right now LOL

Today:

15 mile bike ride

1 LR section untimed

1 RC passage

2 LGs

Fortifying the wine from this year's harvest, opening game of NFL and some rounds of pool and beer.

Tomorrow:

Quick mile run

3 hour drive to the mountains close to the LSAT test center

10 mile hike to clear my mind

1 LR section, 1 RC passage, and two LGs at campsite

Camping under the stars for a great night's sleep on a cold night. It will be another hour drive to the test center in the morning but that's fine with me! Should be fun going into the test center smelling like campfire.

WOW. dude...that sounds amazing!

Read all the answer choices completely

I missed 6. Didn't finish reading answer choice E and just put A.

Taking it easy too!

-Reviewing LR basics in the CC

-Working through a couple RC passages

-Watching Tomb Raider (the original)

Never give in!

Very nice! Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is the Angelina Jolie one right?

I know they have a new actress playing as Lara now...sorry haven't been keeping up.

Infact, I might join you!

Although I got this one correct, I found it pretty difficult and very time killing
